They have those plastic outdoor storage barn things. My mother would rather throw a **** fit than let me park my car in the garage. Much less park a motorcycle in the kitchen lol

TDavis 01-05-2015 10:07 PM

My main concern is it sitting in the cold, motorcycles, especially Ducati's do NOT like sitting in the cold weather, let alone sit there for 2 months.

TruGreenGAGT 01-05-2015 10:15 PM

ok yeah that ugly, I thought maybe u took off a rear fendor like whats up front

xUnderCoverHoBo 01-06-2015 03:01 AM

I know i havent been on here much recently. But when the **** did u get a ducati? I remember a while ago u bought a jacket and helmet and guess this. Wow i need to actually read this ****

mfuller 01-06-2015 06:39 AM

That's a really nice motorcycle, Tanner. ;phat

DrFabulous 01-06-2015 01:21 PM

Here's about how mine sat the other night on the side of the highway on a balmy -5° day:

This was a couple weeks ago. Can't see it now, covered in snow. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ps0f4ca603.jpg

When did you get rid of the Lexus?

Sold it a month ago. Warranty was up this year so needed to move into something newer. Very happy with the move so far.

Very nice, congrats. Tough choice you have, walking out to the garage and having to pick between two boosted vehicles.

gudge 01-07-2015 04:13 PM

On the lift at my mechanic's garage. Getting rear brake lines replaced and having him throw on my extra set of calipers and brackets that I painted and my drilled and slotted rotors while he's at it.

Should bought some SS lines while you where at it

gudge 01-07-2015 04:44 PM

I'll get some when I get a job and put them on myself when I have more money. I'm out of work right now and this was an unexpected cost already so money is pretty tight, so I need to save every penny. If I get a job I have a list of purchases I plan to get, which includes SS lines. I really hope I get a job soon because I'm planning on buying something from someone but I need to get the job soon or it probably won't be available.

AaronGTR 01-07-2015 05:09 PM

I'll say this, your mechanic has a very nice looking garage! :) Well lit, clean floor, and a lift.

sleepyalero 01-07-2015 05:13 PM

Sure is nice, and your car is getting it all wet and dirty. ;)

_HeC_ 01-08-2015 01:58 PM

Need to get this thing in the garage :(

True! The Audi isn't much slower than the GTO was when stock so either way, spirited driving it is, :hay:

not real worried about the cars behind me. just want to keep the glaciers from building up on the sides of the car..

well after this recent outing in the snow the rivets aren't holding the rubber on the mudflap. they get a nice bulge which if there was metal it would have clamped nice but the rubber just comes off. gonna try some button head screws with fender washers on the rubber side.

on a another semi related note these tires are pretty nice in the snow.. finally got some snow to actually use them in. the rears deposit A LOT of snow in the rear wheel well and the rear LSD works fantastically.

Why not just buy a set of rally armors? They make them for that legacy.

because $115 for mudflaps. nope even the gorilla ones are roughly the same price.

plus the way they stuck out on the sides always bugged me..

99ga 01-11-2015 04:23 PM

Fock all this white stuff on my paint, and I had just washed it today too

go to NAPA and buy a single semi black rubber mud flap and cut to fit... sure you can get 4 flaps from it for the car

that was my next thought. slipped my mind for awhile since before this it was relatively nice out.

TruGreenGAGT 01-11-2015 04:50 PM

yeah I got a pair for my dually and still had to trim them to fit right...

I blew a tire and it shattered my fender flare and ripped the flap off... had dealer fix the fender and paint match...the dumbasses included a set of flaps for a single tire truck

TDavis 01-11-2015 06:42 PM

Put in an LED for the front parking light. Convienant since mine burnt out recently.

TruGreenGAGT 01-11-2015 09:04 PM

did you move the bike from the kitchen to the living room??

TDavis 01-11-2015 09:24 PM

Took it into the living room after a ride to put in the light and have room. Nobody was home lol

rocketfast123 01-12-2015 07:36 AM

Lets be real here. Its not hurting anything and its not like its stored in the middle of the living room, no one was home and I was working on it, yes its in the kitchen being stored but its out of the way to the side. You have to do ALOT less to a motorcycle when storing it in a warm room rather then sitting outside. Rather then my friends R6 which starts right up in the cold Ducati's don't like cold so if it sits in the cold it'll take a little to start up. Lately though its been fine seeing as I'm riding it more often since I bet it wasn't started up inside the dealership at all. If I could put it in my room I would but pushing a 350lb bike up the stairs would be a hell of a time.

Wouldn't be any different though if I had a apartment with a garage. I'd store the car in the garage and put the bike just inside the front door.

Once the mid summer 50-70 degree nights hit I'll probably put it on the back patio.

Ha! Bought the car in Vegas and drove it back to Chicago. I want to say that picture was actually Utah not too far north of Arizona so you are pretty damn close.

This is now, but it makes me sad.
