Glad you reminded me, been too busy and forgot to change oil here lately.
I like the look of this, btw. I think Boyd Coddington put out a similar wheel on a 115 bolt pattern, and the rim was 15. But yours look better.

He is taking pictures from that angle,
and that sir, is called a moonroof, sometimes when I need enough air for ventilation, I open the moonroof, instead of rolling doing the windows wich allows alot more air and not only that but it hits my face, that thay cracked moonroof is just perfect. Happy? Ok :)

bah I can't do that in the winter too much damn ice around here with all the negative temperatures. I won't risk breaking my sunmoonroofsliderthing

Bought an exhaust

https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8594/...5daa703d_b.jpg

sleepyalero 02-27-2015 09:46 PM

How much did that run you?

TDavis 02-28-2015 12:25 AM

$800. $400 below retail

Would of gotten the full carbon version but apparently the carbon sleeve had problems with backpressure and other things so I went with the black steel with the brushed aluminum look and the carbon ends.

First thing I've owned with carbon fiber lol

sleepyalero 02-28-2015 12:32 AM

Amazing how such little pipe can cost so much.

TDavis 02-28-2015 01:01 AM

Yeah well good exhausts for your S1000RR aren't going to be cheap either

sleepyalero 02-28-2015 07:50 AM

I bet not lol

TDavis 02-28-2015 10:27 AM

It's really all about the name. BMW, Aprilia, and Ducati parts cost more but you know you're getting a quality product in the end. Rather then my friend who has an R6 who can buy an exhaust for like $200-$300 or even cheaper.

For anyone who is interested. Listen to 7 seconds then skip to 0:45 to get a real comparison of stock vs Mivv.

Yeah its amazing on how power washing can make a car driven in the salt/snow look 90% clean. My car was FILTHY and it was 25 degrees one day and I took it to the wash to get most the crap off and always surprised how much it gets off since I don't go to the coin wash anymore.

gtsouth 03-02-2015 08:26 PM

I can't wait to put my wheels back on my car and get my bike outside. Right around the corner I hope.

Really need a pro camera, this phone (s5) doesn't really capture the real detail

AaronGTR 03-07-2015 04:50 PM

I'm glad my S4 doesn't capture all the detail... my car's a mess! :(

Honestly though... it's still got a better camera than my last dedicated digital camera. That thing was a dinosaur. Can't afford/don't need an expensive camera though either.

Pontiac_guy99 03-07-2015 07:04 PM

It was 39 degrees here today! That means that I got to wash my car OUTSIDE! It was chilly but really nice for an early March day.

I washed it as nice as I could, and then tried some photo-editing. Tell me if I did ok. (I spent over 2 1/2 hours cleaning the picture up). I used GIMP, which is pretty much a free version of photoshop.

Before GIMP:

After GIMP:

EDIT: wow you can't really tell the difference. But i did most of the work on the bug guts on the front bumper and the dirty tires. I'm sorry.

AleroB888 03-07-2015 07:55 PM

I see a difference, bottom one looks sharper to me

sleepyalero 03-07-2015 11:58 PM

Yeah a little sharper, but not a huge difference to really notice, i mean you REALLY have to look.

Also tip, do you use rain-x on your windows? Or something else?

tipnitty 03-08-2015 06:04 PM

That's rain-x that's about a year old. I'll be putting the colinite on the windows as well once I get another nice weekend with decent weather.

Well, the rockers started rusting on the truck. That was pretty much last straw, so it is now raging boner to pay off everything I owe and take on a big (newish) truck payment. For 169 a month, I can't complain, but I had half the cost in cash when I bought it, looks like a good trade in deal is going to hit me 390, 425 neighborhood, that's gonna make me poor lol
