Lucky. Those tire carcasses are unforgiving.

I had the security light on for almost the entire time I owned my black GA... finally put black tape over it.

bricooper78 01-11-2013 11:13 AM

I think it had an air pocket, said coolant was outside temp boundaries, let it heat up, then read and cleared codes, been good since, so I think I got lucky lol no electrical tape....yet :D

Thats what people have been saying to me. They do stick out of the fenders the slightest bit, but it actually makes it look mean IMO. These are 18's just like the stock wheels, but I prefer the style of the factories. But for a winter wheel, I can't complain.

They came off of a Dodge Magnum. Is also a pretty rare rim from what i've seen/heard. Centrecaps from my wheels fit right in these!

I like yours too! The name of your rims are on the top of the head and it's driving me nuts. Anyways, whatever they're called took a while to grow on me, but i'm starting to really like them!

I know, I took it home half way into the shift and swapped cars. Tired of seeing her coated in condensation. And glad I did, because when I got off, the roads were soaked. When I took it home they were dry.

Winning.

I need a new car cover, mine lost its elastic (or however you want to say it)... It doesn't hug the car anymore it just droops. I would like a nice one but they can get pricey, mines just a 30$ Walmart cover. Works well non the less though.

What wheels are those?

Also: 8mm spacers all around would make such a huge difference.

SkiZZor 01-12-2013 09:33 AM

18" Motegi MR117

Ah, not bad for Motegi.

Still, I'd add 8mm spacers to make them sit more flush. You'll be much happier with them.

Sexy!

TDavis 01-12-2013 12:10 PM

Was originally looking at SkiZZ's thread on his Motegi's when I first joined the forum and made me want to get them but I started to grow out of the time attack look. Plus I wanted some with a lower offset so they would stick out more.

SD hood looks nice, I would of kept black grill inserts instead of red because I think the red make the scoop openings look smaller then they actually are.

kzulfic 01-12-2013 01:11 PM

Nice! The SD flows really well. I agree also on the spacers, it would look a lot better.

SkiZZor 01-12-2013 03:25 PM

I have to get the hood repainted and I plan on either cutting out the grille mesh or painting the mesh black. As for the spacers, I know I've seen a lot of people saying they aren't exactly the safest things in the world, is there a certain brand or type that anyone recommends getting? For the spring I need to get my front bumper replaced and then hopefully a SCT kit and spoiler.

H&R make good spacers.

People that say spacers "aren't safe" haven't been hands on with them. A lot of the cars at my shop have anything from 3-5mm spacers to entire 15-25mm adapters and we've never encountered an issue.

Kayaus 01-12-2013 09:01 PM

I hate you I was talking to that guy to see if he'd meet me in Woodbridge, he said yes then it sold... Whatever looks better on your red GA then sitting in my living room until I can afford to paint it black xD

Deff. keeping my eyes open for the SD though :P

bricooper78 01-12-2013 09:03 PM

With your black trim and headlights, spend a few bucks on the inlays for the bumper dimples, blacking them out would look pretty good on your car

You know, I've been thinking about it.... But I don't know if I want to. It's tempting though, know anywhere I can get black painted GA dual post mirrors CHEAP? Preferably new.

But I do like my Mickey Mouse mirrors. :)

i don't know about new but scout out the junkyards. i've been pretty lucky with finding decent looking parts that only needed a little wax love.

at least get a set of dual posts to try out the look.

i'm not making fun of you. my friends do the same thing to me since the car seems to never see the outside.

i haven't washed my GA in over a year and it still seems to remain semi clean.

come to think of it i haven't even started it since maybe October or earl November..

you should get one of those pedal bikes that have the motors on them. saw a few for sale when i was going to pick up the girlfriend.

I was thinking a mini bike 110cc. lol but that would be cool too, it would have to do at least 30-40 mph. Mini bike has turn signals, headlight and tail light so it's street legal. Just gotta tell the cops it's a 49cc if they ask the motor size, technically anything above 49cc is supposed to be plated/insured. But cops don't know how to check.

I'm sure I can find a new pair wether its eBay or some other website. I wouldn't really want a junk yard one. It has to be perfect to fit my taste, so my best bet would be new.

TDavis 01-16-2013 09:26 AM

If I was you, I'd paint the bronze plate on the rotor like a flat black or something. It pops out too much is a weird way to me and doesn't flow with the blue/black.

Eh, its a rotor, at some point it will have to be replaced so its not to much of a worry to me, but I see your point.

sleepyalero 01-16-2013 09:44 AM

Look what I found with free shipping...
