Yeah that didn't go nearly as well as I planned. I was hoping the pontiac would stay salty but it looked terrible with water seeping into it. So i just squeegeed it clean lol. Then I messed with the GT and made it even uglier... I almost consider it a competition to have the dirtiest car in town, just need a little mud. Undercoating FTW!!

Shade2012 02-05-2013 12:49 PM

Your poor paint is crying underneath all of that. Damn dude, give that bish a bath. lol

Some work in progress before spring.

Shade2012 02-05-2013 01:59 PM

What are you doing to it? Just curious.

bricooper78 02-05-2013 02:24 PM

You make me cry since I has no garage.

geldartb 02-05-2013 02:36 PM

cry on cooper..lol even though it get's cold in mine it's still better than outside. usually like 10*f above outside depending on outside temp.. got me a propane convection heater for the overall room and a space heater for when i sit down.. sometimes when it's nice i bring the subaru inside to check and grease the drive shaft.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h5...2/IMAG0196.jpg

and my fancy seat/chair.. drilled some holes in the front to accept the hooks on the seat rails and bolted the back down. gonna do some refinements on it when i warms up again but for the last few months it's been pretty good and solid. pretty sure i built the whole base out of scraps i had lying around.

Can't wait for this weekend... hopefully going to get a lip spoiler and spacers installed Saturday morning.

bricooper78 02-05-2013 04:20 PM

My car went for it's first ride in 3 weeks today lol

Took it down and put like 20lbs of air in the passenger front, it has one of them cold weather chromatec leaks.. so put them all up to like 40 since it's just sitting. and then rolled home. a whopping 1200 feet in each direction :D

geldartb 02-05-2013 04:39 PM

mine hasn't moved since october. lol

i usually throw 40 in the GA's tires since it sits a lot. got one that doesn't like to hold air so pretty sure it's flat.

have to move it 0 feet since i have a compressor and i also got one of those 7 gallon air tanks too.

bricooper78 02-05-2013 05:07 PM

:(

well, seeings how I have no garage, (and I do have a little 1 gallon portable that I got from work, the motor died, i haven't tore into it due to having NO CLUE what to do with it lol) and i am 3 blocks from Casey's.... I made it this time lol

I wish to hell I had a garage, would love to have the car inside.

Went back out to the truck, nail sticking out of the tire, hanging over the edge of the tire tho, went in like a needle when you get a shot, only like 1/2 inch, i pulled it back out with my fingers, I think I got lucky for once! :woot:

GrandAmMe 02-05-2013 05:07 PM

Old pic from May 2012. GAGT now has tint. Pathfinder had the plastidip removed from the wheels and was traded on the Sorento. Sonata is the same. Thought it was a pretty cool pic!

Well just cleaning this up, hiding wires. I took out cruise control and that bracket that holds it. I'm gonna order some hood struts, I can't wait for those. I have H&R Springs I'm installing. Gotta replace one of my axle boots and just stuff like that nothing to major. Next year I'm gonna do some engine work, this year just make sure everything is mint and running good and get all the small crap done. I also have a WRX/STI i'm working on.

TruGreenGAGT 02-05-2013 08:53 PM

make sure you mention to the seller your hood is fiberglass. cause not sure were you getting them but place I got mine, they sold them for the stock steel hood which weighs more. i told them my hood CF and they sent me the correct struts for my weight

I had a T/A guy say "nice hood" to me one day when I had it... I think he might have been serious.

I didn't even think of that, good call dude

TruGreenGAGT 02-06-2013 09:26 AM

yup anytime. i just know the higher pressure for steel hood would be bad on fiberglass....it would raise it faster

curious were you getting them from also?
