It does, but it happens to be built into the rear window.
Speaking of which I wonder if the rear window between the Alero and the Grand Am is interchangeable?
It is commonly accepted that the Grand Am did not get a rear window with a built in antenna simply because of the additional cost.

Yeah I can't wait to put it on. Need to fix the rear bumper scuff before I put it on though.

TDavis 08-24-2013 07:48 PM

Got my STBs from this faggot named Kameron, just need to repaint it. Would of took a picture of the rear one but I was getting fking mauled by two bees, I think he threw in the two bees for a surprise. So I just laid the front one on to get a look at it.

Picture is fuzzy as sht for some reason

I've heard that idea before. Never looked into it that far though. You could measure them up and compare side by side, or look it up and see if the rear window is the same part # for both cars. I just think it would be a lot of cost to have the rear window replaced just for that. And you'd have to wire it up.

I ended up just shaving my rear antenna since I was doing some repair work back there anyway and had to get it repainted, and I got a powered antenna from autoloc that sticks to the glass inside the front windshield. Was easier/cheaper to wire up and install that way and it gets great signal.

xUnderCoverHoBo 08-24-2013 09:05 PM

Wht did you do about the hole in your car? Lol assuming you removed everything there

Stole a truck earlier lol

TruGreenGAGT 08-24-2013 09:15 PM

I wanna say the rear windows are. Cause for some reason my car on the rear Window it doesn't have the dot matrix. Mine has lines, we're ever other GA I've ever seen has the dots....so idk

geldartb 08-25-2013 10:06 AM

Body filler, sand, paint, boom hole filled.

Bryle James 08-26-2013 12:55 AM

I will confirm seeing someone swap in an Alero rear window with the antenna, a very long while ago there were pictures of this on GAOC. How you wire the antenna is going to be a good challenge though. To fill the hole, it is a much better idea to have some metal cut and welded in place, rather than using body filler.

sleepyalero 08-26-2013 02:00 AM

Yeah that too. But body filler would be the easier route.

Took out the antenna mounting hardware and welded in a patch. Put in some body filler, block sanded, and had that panel painted.

Exactly.

But then you run the risk of having cracks develop. I did that with the stock wing holes on my trunk. Just tack welded some metal tabs to the underside and filled the holes with bondo. There are cracks in the paint now and you can see where the old holes are. Same thing's happening where I molded the wing on. Now I need to have them cleaned out and welded in, ground down, and repaint the trunk.

So i am at the movie jobs. I get to the movie and park. I get out and turn around there is a lambo,(i live in the country no one owns one of these) so yes i hold up my friends and girlfriend to repark next to him :) i dont think he will ding my doors. Lol

http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/...psd4278c4e.jpg

[ChaosweaveR] 08-26-2013 06:11 PM

Those don't have scissor doors...

sleepyalero 08-26-2013 06:12 PM

Hes probably going to be mad because he didnt want anyone to park by him

Chaos, either way, its a lambo, you think someone would carelessly swing the door open to a car beside them? Doubt it.

TDavis 08-26-2013 06:20 PM

Overrated lambos are overrated

tipnitty 08-26-2013 06:24 PM

inb4 more grand am owners complain about a lambo

lol

sleepyalero 08-26-2013 06:34 PM

I like lambos

TDavis 08-26-2013 06:41 PM

I just don't jizz over them and when I see one I'm not like everyone else who is like "OMGZ A LAMBO LEMME TAKE A PIC."

xUnderCoverHoBo 08-26-2013 08:15 PM

When you live in the middle of no where and drive to a movie and see a lambo its a big deal to us. And no chaos sorry to burst your insanely high ego bubble. He will not ding my doors because each of his doors is worth more than my car. So yeah i think its cool, but then again anything anybody likes you hate because you have a weird taste.
