Still need to polish the outer lens, silicone the lens to the housing, and "bolt her down" Probably seal it up tonight and let dry, then I will install and give the car a much needed wash and maybe even a coat of wax!

Well it's not perfect, I painted the car on a windy day on a gravel driveway so has a little dust in it, however orange peel is very minimal so I haven't bothered wet sanding the paint since the dust doesn't show much with the color.

That sucks man, I've been there before and I feel your pain.

What's the reason for the lay off? Last I heard, they bought Bucyrus International in Milwaukee and were booked for 5+ years.

I installed the headlights in this morning, gave the Grand Am a good wax, and headed to downtown Flanagan (block away...small town lol) for a quick photoshoot...

That looks so strange, always seeing them chrome.......... wow, that is different. I like it, but it's just sooo different... wow!

Shade2012 04-05-2013 08:11 PM

Dem headlights

[ChaosweaveR] 04-05-2013 09:19 PM

Neat idea, but...you painted the entire reflective bowl in the process. Wouldn't that make the light output worse? O.o

TruGreenGAGT 04-05-2013 10:18 PM

he stated somewere in one of his threads/post he doesn't drive at night, so the lights see no use

Mike, your car is screaming SC/T KIT!!! You have to do it, pinch your pennies and you can easily afford... especially since you can do all of the prep and paint work! Your car is rising to the top game in the forums! By the way what happened to the grill kit I sold you? I think it would look great on the front end, it would draw your wheels in better?

This.

[ChaosweaveR] 04-06-2013 08:06 AM

He needs low and aggressive wheels before going SC/T. Stock wheels and ride height just wouldn't compliment the SC/T kit at all.

TDavis 04-06-2013 08:08 AM

Well if thats the case I guess we won't see SC/T at all because he just wants it as a DD and I doubt he'll lower it. I'm comfortable with my ride quality and I'm pretty much lowered 2"
