Just ordered from grafxwrks (sp?) the front and rear bumper "PONTIAC" inserts, the front bumper inlays, and the black arrowhead decal. Also ordered some black rubber side trim so waiting on that as well.

Our work will have a week shutdown after Thanksgiving so hopefully get those installed then along with the SC/T spoiler and paint the hood scoops and lower rear bumper black. I also need to adjust the drivers door back just a hair. The factory didnt do a great job aligning the doors. Then its time for a good detail just in time for winter! :banghead

Working out a deal for a mint dashpad and interior should be finished as well once thats in. I bought a drivers door kick panel/sill plate and a new hvac control panel since one of the knobs was broken.

Then my only other thing left on the list (if I dont do rims) is the exhaust. I plan to order some 70/71 GTO splitters to go on the GA

Took a couple days off but did some work on my lunch break today. Recieved my Pontiac front bumper decal and the front and rear bumper side trim (still need the side trim but may have to order some rear bumper ones and cut those up)

Anyways starting to look like a car again!

Don't put a pin stripe on the side either, dunno if you where going to but I had the thought when I first got the car.

Later on decided not to because it would look too busy with the black rubber trim around the car.

No strip but I may do the retro Ram Air decals for the hood.

Oh order my exhaust tips today...70/71 GTO stainless splitters 2 1/4 inch diameter.

Note to self...Shim the top of the bumper...Also plan on tinting the tails soon...now what else should I tint/not tint? Front fogs, reverse lens, 3rd brake light, maybe even a light tint over the headlights?

Also what do you guys think about the bumper scoops? Should I leave the silver border there or remove it and put the black mesh insert in there? I have it, just torn which one I like better.

You can have the black grill insert there AND the silver border if I recall?

The ones I have slide into where the insert is and would cover them...

Oh well I would put the grill insert in there so it matches everything.

Thats what Im starting to think...I still need to modify the hood scoop inserts though since they are a little too long (thats what she said! :leg) Just need to figure something to use to give it a clean cut.

Just installed my bumper vinyls. Looks good! Also took off the bumper arrowhead and installed just the black overlay in the place of the emblem so you see bodycolor inside the Pontiac "star" will get pics soon!

Personally I would paint the grills black. They look good, but they stand out just a little too much for my taste.

Removed the entire arrowhead? Why?

$550 for 077s that need reconditioning, and are polished instead of chrome? Pass. Even without that crack. I paid far less than that for a set that was in better shape than that, and sold both of my sets (which had been polished up quite nicely) for less.

Was talking to the owner if this thread since hes nifty with his hands.

Sorry for the lack of updates, just been too cold to really do much. I did finally paint my door jams so I can install my door panels again! It's been ghetto driving around without them lol other than that, I haven't done much. I received my slp muffler, just need to find time to install it and put the tips on the car. Will update when I do!
