1) Remove ad.
2) Install in climate controlled garage.
3) Wait 20 years.
4) Retest.

Who the hell stores these away? That's a bold move.

>implying the GAGT was ever valuable

ItsMeScottG 07-12-2014 04:13 PM

It's cool and all that the car has low miles, however, it's a 1999 Grand Am and cars have issues when they sit like that for long periods of time. Yes it has low miles but, Its still a grand am.

geldartb 07-12-2014 04:40 PM

who's the retard who bought this 15yrs ago and basically drove it for a month and went hmm let's put it in storage so i can sell it 15yrs later.

it may only have 1250 miles according to the ad further down. never actually see the odometer. but it is a 15yr old grand am and it's red..NOPE NOPE.

tipnitty 07-12-2014 04:47 PM

Don't get me wrong, I would buy it. But for 3000.

^it has 1250 miles on it and needs a complete engine rebuild!! lol lol lol

i think the original owner drove it for a month, hated themself for buying it, instead of a firebird. probably killed themself and the family is now tired of looking at it and ready to move on

I'd offer 9K if it was local, since I can easily supercharge it. It's got the stronger timing chain and aluminum control arms, right?

But just a few years ago some dealer sold a concept car for 18K in Denver. I thought that was too high as well.

HOYS 07-13-2014 08:06 PM

Don't forget to do the intake gaskets while your there.

caraudiodave 07-13-2014 10:51 PM

its more likely that it was owned but an old lady who drove it 1 block a week to the grocery store and church.

people just dont buy these cars to store and sell like a 68 shelby gt500.

yep, they built '99 a little better than the rest.

Gotta wonder how often the fluids were being changed though with such low mileage.

geldartb 07-14-2014 10:37 AM

.lol fluid change thats not even enough for an oil change let alone anything else..

I am sure the dexcool is chunky and clogged the water jackets, destroyed the rubber hoses and hell is there even a radiator left in it?

juanvan 07-17-2014 02:59 PM

I guess Jay Leno would not take it??
3k would be a steal, for that guy still has 5k worth of recalls the buyer has to put into it.

AleroB888 07-24-2014 05:35 PM

Price Reduced!
