here is an easyer way to check if wheel bearing. driving down the road turn the wheel left and right if the noise goes away in one direction and gets worse or is noticeable in the other direction...

does your window go down fine cause if it goes down and not up it could be an electrical problem, but if it doesnt go up or down then it is most likely a regulator the part that you have a link for.

based on what you said the gauge fluctuating and the heat coming and going sounds like low coolant. what engine does it have if its a 3.4/3.1 the intake mite be leaking thus loosing coolant....
