Turbo GAGT Build!

New and improved Turbo GAGT build thread.

Time to bring some life back to this section!

After several years of research and parts collection it seems the time has come to post a build thread. Ill do my best to keep this as up to date as possible.

Any and all comments/questions are welcome.

Now on to the pictures. The GA ready for the tear down.

Both the engine and transmission are finally out for good.

Empty engine bay.

Fuel System 12-19-10

I'm still waiting on a few parts to arrive in the mail but here is what I have as of Sunday.

Dropped the tank.

Racetronix Fuel Pump

Fuel Pump ready to be installed into the tank.

Fuel rail with modified harness, 42.5lb injectors, and TCE aluminum fittings.

That's it for tonight I probably won't have time to update this weekend but I will have something for you guys soon.

nom nom nom. I love build threads. The problem is over half of them end with an unfinished project...

QFT.

This project has been nearly 3 years in the making and will be finished. If everything goes to plan I will be driving this car sometime mid- 2011.

I seriously hope you are joking .... Nick knows a heck of a lot more about this than Zuki does.

You better call me when you get it running. Looking good so far. Maybe I'll have to mosey over someday and check out things in person.

Thanks I love the way the braided wire loom came out but the stuff was kind of a pain to get done right and I ended up having to redo it once before it came out looking like it did.

The turbo is in the avatar but here are some more pictures.

Things have been a little slow because of the holidays so I haven't updated much but I did get a few more parts from summit.

Possible mounting point for the regulator.

I ended up changing my mind on the routing of my fuel lines so I ended up having to purchase more fittings before I could put anything together.
