i wonder what the STI community thinks of the new STIs. what gets me most is like when you see an older style STI, you know what it is, like it has the street presence so to speak. the new one doesnt have that at all.... its weak; even though it is a very fast car.

LSX motors can get some very reasonable mpg, it all just comes down to the driver. I can get 20mpg in my GTO in the city, if I keep it in a high gear and shift at 2grand. On the highway, I get 25 mpg.

I would guess in every car BUT the Vette, DOD would be available. Maybe the Camaro... but... again, since its a sports car, I doubt it.

That FOCKING SUCKS !!!

http://www.pontiac.com/g8/index.jsp?...yle=&year=2008

G8 V6 MSRP starts at $27,595 US
That means it is about 15.9% more in Canada

G8 GT MSRP starts at $29,995 US
That means it is about 23.3% more in Canada.

I hope, by the time the Pontiac G8 GXP comes out: They re-consider their pricing

Don't bet on it. GM pricing for Canadian customers is out of control. In fact, that APR is crazy.

yes, and 2009 was teh second year run that was expected to have the M6. Now they say it won't. people are going to be p1ssed.

As for sales. This car was #2 on the top 10 best selling cars last month. The G6 and Grand Prix were on the top 10 of worst selling

(stats are evaluated in accordance with avg. # of days on lot)
Grand Prix's that are coming off lease are being GIVEN away... a friend said he saw one with ~36k miles go through auction right around 8grand If anyone is in the market for a reliable used car, I'd point them in that direction.
