repairable...yes. but your insurance company will most likely total the vehicle because the cost to repair is too close to the overall value of the car. So keep an eye on the auto auctions and you'll see yours like I saw mine.

I had FAR less damage on my 99 and they wrote of the car and cut me a check. And I got in my accident in 2002 so our cars were about the same "age" overall from date of inservice.

Yeah, I'm pretty much expecting them to total it at this point.

Well, I just got done cleaning all my stuff out of my car in case they total it. I'm not going to deal with trying to buy it back and fix it up. I don't have the space to make it a project car...

I did one more visual inspection and it looks like the damage comes down to this, I dont think there was any major structural damage (frame, etc):
-Front and Rear bumper
-passenger side rear quarter panel
-passenger side headlight and taillight.
-hood.
-front passenger side fender

The trunk lid and floor are just fine. I checked and the radiator looks fine, too. when i hit the front of the car, it kinda rolled along the wall, it wasnt a direct head on hit, but then again, it was enough force to push the hood back. Although, the driver side front fender looks just fine. I'll find out how bad it is tomorrow...my appointment's in the morning.

I cant buy it back because the loan company gets the check. So, I'm basically at square one.

I'm thinking about it. I'm not gonna get anything for the moment, though. Take some time, feel it out. I live in Chicago, so publc trans is pretty sufficient for the time being...
