there's a reason they go for that, because they are a piece of sh1t. Cheap interior, don't respond to mods in relation to what you are going to pay to get them, handling is meh. You're basically buying a Grand Am GT+

No they don't, unless you are willing to drop $15-20k on the engine reinforcement, turbo setup...and then to handle it you'll need a new tranny. CarVersion2 in Delaware has a turbo 350z, and last time I was there talking to them the guy said it was a mistake and all show. He said it shows off their company car, but it can't go anywhere because the engine and tranny can't handle the power and they aren't go to basically rebuild the engine or change the tranny for the cost.

sorry, but credit card fraud doesn't hurt your credit if you have an account and credit score worth a sh1t, so that's simply a lie.

I've had my bank card and credit cards taken for a ride, my score is still near 750.

How about this, I'll sell you a real car, my RX7, for $20k. It's even the 350z blue color. A lot better buy than a 5 year old with hardly any potential for your budget.

From someone whom was in your situation at your age (as in, Me):

-Use some of the cash to fix the GA.
-Put the rest in savings. Unless you have a full ride to college, save it for a rainy day or emergency.
-Sell the turbo setup and put that into savings as well. You could probably get more out of it than what you paid for it provided everything is still in the same shape.
-Drive the GA while you are in college until the wheels fall off.
-When you graduate and have a good source of income, play all you want within reason.

I still have 2K in student loans to pay off because of how much I had to borrow in college. I even had a job and was in a work study program when I was in school. I would imagine it would be even harder for you now, because in some professional fields, you need to work your ass off just to get in the door.

Not looking to criticize in any way, shape, or form. Just looking to share my experience in life. Now I simply do what ever I want just as a learning experience, and have fun with it. Which is all my Grand Am was. It could easily have been any other vehicle

350Z eh? See you in my rear view.

Honestly, it's not a bad car at all and can be a lot of fun. Good luck.

Agreed. My Girl owe's about 70K in Student loans. She just Graduated in May. Degree in Fashion Design. Needless to say we are Screwed untill she works her ass off to get into some company. Not to mention all your other Bills. If i could re-do life I would still have the GA. Also Once you Graduated Don't have the mind set your going to walk out the door and get a 50K+ Job. Just doesn't happen as often as you think also depends on your major.

Believe these people, college isn't cheap, even though I went to a very affordable one, I only have 25k out in loans. Worked hard through school and found out that it is tough to be a gearhead and go to school. Especially when I need to support my car habit and my snowmobile. Stick with what you got build it piece by piece and when you graduate and get a good job then reward yourself. I still need to remind myself from time to time that there is an order to the way things happen and I can't let myself mix them up just cause I want something now. The TC is bought, install it be happy and spend the 8k on books and tuition.
