this is the style of rim i might be going for .
now i see it being sold in 18x8.5 with +45 offset , and 18x8 with +40 offset , and 18x8with +35 offset. the photo is likely not any of those EXACT sizes, but you get the idea. which of those offsets and or width of rims is going to give me more of the deep dish rim look. and are any of thos width of rims going to be a fitment problem. for now the car is at stock height , but may get lowered using H&R springs later. what tire size would look best or recommend. A deep-dish rim refers to the size of the lip, not offset or width. I would go with the 18x8 with the +40 offset. I believe most use 225/40 or 235/40 with 8" wide wheels but I may be wrong. Use an online tire calculator to be certain.

other makers of same style rim >> armano dunamis center caps can be blk or chrome , and vision with either blk or chrome center caps .
and someone on this website sold these 18" armano's with nittro tires back in 2006. not sure what exact size they were 18 X ? or offset ?. they look like they have a pretty good deep dish look. some of these makers also make them in 18x7.5 . but i like to be able to put the widest , fats tire on as possible. ANYONE with photo's of this style in 18X8 or even 18x8.5. Last edited by CUSTOMGAGT2000SEDAN; 10-04-2008 at 01:57 PM. |

this is the PFYC show car 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix Inferno....i most love these rims and even the tires look great.
QUESTION who knows what size these are and offset. they not only have a deep dish look but even the narrow ends of each of the 5 star legs are even set in a bit. i would love to put that size they used on car. it would end my many years of trying to find rims. i will email PFYC but not sure it they will tell me or be able . you just never know. i hope they are not 20's because they will look stupid on my ga aspecially if i end up not lowering it. i may not lower it with H&R springs because i hope to get the sc/t kit and put that on and that kit would even give the car a lower look also. i am hoping they are 18's but you probably going to right.

this is what PFYC said.
We no longer offer the Foose Speedster wheels for the Grand Am / Grand Prix, but I believe our Inferno Grand Prix had 20 x 8.5" wheels with 245/35/20 tires on them. I'm not quite sure what the offset was, but I'm guessing somewhere around 40mm. Hope that helps. |

rosado 's rims are foose and yes close design , but not exact same. i know and even said in this thread that his 20's look quite natural on his car.
question what would 20's look like on my car with atleast a sc/t kit, and MAYBE without the car being lowered. the sc/t kit will make the car low enough againest our bad roads. i believe i have seen one or 2 cars on this site and if not lowered . to me they did not look good. i can not remember if either of them had added body kits. |

I'm almost positive his are the lusso's just the paint makes them look different. Notice there are 6 rivits between each spoke on both, I cant find any differences.
EDIT never mind they are a little different near the hub area |

OKAY TEC guys and or wheels knowledgable guys. it appears the rim i last pictured on the grand prix. FOOSE SPEEDSTER - F115 , i could get them for my car size >> 18 x 8.5 , with +45mm offset.
AND THESE ARE THE OTHER SIZES THEY COME IN , WHICH OF ALL THESE SIZES WILL FIT AND GIVE ME THE WIDEST/FATEST TIRE LOOK + DEEPEST DISH LOOK , AND NOT LOOK LIKE THE WRONG SIZE, FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE MODS LATER DOWN THE ROAD. Size 19x7.5 Bolt Pattern 5x114.3 Offset 45 Finish Chrome Size 18x8.5 Bolt Pattern 5x114.3 Offset 45 Finish Chrome Size 18x7.5 Bolt Pattern 5x114.3 Offset 45 Finish Chrome Size 19x8.5 Bolt Pattern 5x114.3 Offset 45 Finish Chrome Size 18x8.5 Bolt Pattern 5x115 Offset 45 Finish Chrome NOW for you knowledgeble folks , will there be a fit problem with my car with stock gt body , stock brakes , stock height. BUT after i finally get rims. i will do the front camaro/impala big brake change , and i will then choose to do ( one or both ) of these other changes later down the road >> sc/t kit and or H&R lower springs. ![]() These are what i'm rolling on. 17" ICW racing ultralite rims. I like em... but i'm thinking less spokes will make me happier. IMO I think Dubbish rims look like crap on any grand am.. but that is IMO.
