most of the gaskets come off with the original spoiler, though you need to scrub the glue off to avoid an outline. as for hardware i got 4 screws and washers and these useless covers for the screws, no instructions necessary

well that sucks if it doesn't come with the gaskets... cause i never had a gt spoiler... hmm.. i'll still make it work. I'm praying it'll fit over the drilled holes i have with my Alero spoiler.

Question sc/t hardware

post your pictures of all hardware.

caps for screws does not look like i have those unless those are the what look like blk hole plugs. if that's them they do not seat flush / well on the roundish head of screws. i will replace screws and washers with S/S .

and what do your new gaskets look like. i have what looks like 4 or 8 donut shape foam gaskets about an inch round outside diameter . there is 2 square foam pieces with 4 donut round gaskets in each to punch out ... are there supose to be 4 or 8 .

i did ask for extra for another spoiler . but they said they shipped mine out but if they could locate more they would send . but they did not say they sent extra gaskets .

there's no style of gasket that is the shape or full shape of the bottom of the legs.

if that's all there is for gasket then any part of the outside bottom edge of the legs will be sitting right againest the paint .

and if the bottom of the legs is not perfectly smooth i would think any gap ,you have would allow water to creep under the bottom of the legs.

see my *** legs have a gasket full shape and size of leg bottoms.

NEED PHOTO"S. as far as old gasket well mine are old *** gaskets .

WHAT are those 4 blk long curved shape pieces for ??? they look a wee bit like ties but are not . and how do they play a part.

i dont have a digital camera so cant post pics. there are new gaskets on the one i got, they were already glued to the legs and in the correct shape. Not sure of the curved shape pieces you speak of, did not receive any though might have thrown them out w/ the box. Reusing old gaskets would be difficult since they are the wrong shape and get torn up with removal.

when you say correct shape what do you mean. are they about 1" inch round donut / flat washer style or the exact same shape as the bottom of the legs. what's your email i send you photo of my hardware you tell me how it matches yours .

and the next person that gets the spoiler please send me photo's of the complete hardware...telliott@accesswave.ca ... . or at worse describe it. i am not sure they sent me the right gaskets etc.

see the thing is i had asked them to open the the box the spoiler comes in to them, and check spoiler so as to rule out any possible factory damages or major flaws. better to catch any early problems down in usa versus here. but when they did they left out the hardware. so i got it to today but did i get the right stuff.

did you guys notice they changed their spoiler page on the elite spoilers website? They now keep most colors of sc/t spoilers in stock, already painted for faster shipping! They also changed their colors list... my color Victory red.. use to be on their list... now its not... but they still said they can paint to any color code.

xshenanigansx , looks like you put the bug in there ear, and they decided to not run into the re-paint / later shipping of spoilers they had in your case.

the gaskets are in the shape of the bottom of the legs. simply remove the stock spoiler, clean the surface of the trunk lid and screw on the new spoiler. dont see how any leaking problems or paint on paint surface touching would be possible.

What the hell are the plastic ties for? The small gaskets are ridiculous.

I got a gaskets that fit the base of my spoiler, but then again, I got mine from a whole different company.

Finally Got my Spoiler guys!
heres the packaging, hardware and spoiler I didn't get ANY gaskets.... I notice there are TWO sets of screws for each side... I'd rather NOT have to drill 2 more holes... think I can get away with just 2 screws?
