No no, you said in your previous post that every one of these cars looks horrible except one. I want you to defend your position, specifically in regards to my vehicles.

your the problem dr. fagulous not your cars

just to clear up things i dont dislike this website and i shouldnt have said all the cars on here look bad for that i apologize i didnt realy mean it but i dont think all of them look good either well just leave it at that.

and for the selling dope coment i am 26 years old i have 2 houses and this and that and whatever else you can think off. i own a business that i stated a few years back on my own and i also work 60 hours a week at a regular job i have never once sold or touched any kind of drug in my life. everything i have is due to hard work. as far as my huge rims, i already sold them and i made $1200 on top of what i bought them for. so if your not a money hater any one person on here would do the same thing no matter what young imature kids think about putting rims on a fast vehicle. if you havnt noticed gas isnt really that cheap and driving a 100mph everywhere just because the truck will do it doesnt mean i should. so if the rims slow it down so be it. im $1200 dollars richier and i got to enjoy some news wheeels for a couple months. thats all i have to say - again sorry to the others about the comment i made about the cars on here.

If you feel that way then why do you make the comments you do in the first place and then say that all of the people on here are the first to give negative feedback. When you get criticized for it you get all butt hurt and go on rants and start talking crap on the owner and not the car you were dissing on. If you do in fact work that much then why are you so worried about what our cars look like if you are so pleased with your life and your cars? Just out of curiosity. After all of this I can see why no one on here likes you, and I would take that $1200 and put it towards grammar schooling which you seemed to have flunked out of.

So I have no pics, I just have chrome 16 in. GT rims. But I am a fan of small rims, less rotating mass. Umm the first rims are not my cup of tea, but I give ya props man for tryin to make your car show your personality, not saying that your rims are crap therefore you are crap. I am sayin you chose uniquley and that shows a uniqueness about you then. Wayy cool.

Blackgt2k how is that GMS MAF?? I ended up keeping my car and buying another to find out that I have to drive back to their shop to get it re calibrated. You Sir have the only GMS MAF calibrated for the GA's..... for now, but you do have the prototype, damn I wish i woulda kept it. Hey did you need a C.A.R.B I.D for it?? I had a couple extra and they say that their C.A.R.B I.D covers your intake too.

The rims that I have the Foose DF5`s.. they either come all chrome or chrome lip with a black face. The wheels were all crome at one time but I painted them. The center spokes also come in chrome or black. I chose to paint mine since I had the rims all chrome.
Dont know why I didnt see this before.. but now u know what rims have. Better late than never LOL

I thought you were leaving for good?

Why do you keep bringing the ugly big rims back to this site. Really, we don't want it, you can stay away.....like you said you were going to. But unfortunately for us you are not. Please move along and destroy some other car's life...you've already accomplished complete puke stirring nausea with your N-Body and TBSS.

Question Back on topic wheels and tires , a few questions

OKAY I FOUND LOCAL SELLER OF THE FOOSE SPEEDSTER F115 . and he has the exact size i need , and right now with tires to test fit he says on front, as that's the worry area. the rims are 18 x 8.5 , i believe off set is +45 ???

i believe i will put 225-40-18 on .BUT i heard one member who intalled wheels and tires , said to fill the wheel well space a bit more he went with 225-45-18 i think he said ????

were i have no lowering system on my car ( YET , amount will depend on sc/t kit some day ) .but i might want to do the same has the other member did????

besides seeing a bit more tire height from the rim lip to the bottom or top of tire , what other effects of the tire to rim look would i see with one tre size mentioned versus the other , more tire bluging from the sides ???

as far as tires , well i only ever once bought performance type tires. so no real experience with example how they ware. my high performance all-seasons ( dunlop sp sport A2 ) ,yes i have had for about 3 years or in my case only seen spring/summer and falls about 3000 klms each year or more ???

i tried hard to keep tires air pressure checked alot . but front wore dow evenly but fast compare to my backs which still look new darn near. fronts are 1/16th or 2/32 's away from ware bars.

and i always hear that summer tires ware like butter / really fast. how true is this with expensive to moderately cheap tires. i am a mostly a slow easy driver.

the dunlops i had if i went by factory door specs to this same size tire as my stock tires it stated to put 32psi. but over time as i kept an eye on them it looked like 28 to 29 was better for the fronts . the backs i always kept at 29. i do carry some wait in trunk maybe 75 to 100 pounds ???

A 225 tire on a 8.5 rim will not look right at all. The tire will have a streched look to it. A 235 will work just fine. If your going for the recommended then a 225 will called for. Personally I rather have the tire sit right on the rim rather haveing a tire look streched out. So me personally I would want to see a 235/40/18. Once you put aftermarket wheels on a car, recomendation is out the window. Unless its the same size rim..

235/40/18..

Yes there are tires that wear alot faster than others. Thats one thing you have to find out as well.

You should always use the recommended PSI for the tires. Taking air out will sometimes give you a little better ride BUT you will wear the tire faster and uneven as well. If it calls for 32, it should be 32. It will have some effect on your gas milage as well.

Smile wheels and tires

i will go down there tommorrow and take pictures of the foose speedsters ( i believe he said they 18x8.5 ,on 225-40-18 rims to help in this matter.

i like the fact that the rim lip and even the complete center section of the wheel did not stick out past the edge / face of the tire.

AND that little lip on the tires that's supose to i guess protect the rim edge or lip came past the outer edge of the rims by i don't know about 1/8th or smig less. i hate it when they tire lip comes way out past the edges of the rim.

also the tire they had on there federal ss595 seem to keep the tread pattern square / flat not rounded at the edges outer and inner tread pattern.

i know a too narrow of a rim can pull the sidewall in and too fat of a rim can push / bulge the tire out and tend to tuck outer tread area under . nothing like either of those looks here. there was just a very small nice showing of the face of the tire out froim the face of the rims edge.
