Also in one of the pictures posted above why are their guages right over the top of the stock guages?
Just for you Nick!

I will take some more pics when it gets dark. I will show you what it looks like in RED!

Unique is all I can say man. Definitely no one has that same set up of IC and the gauges.

Thanks man. I got a little behind on the actual inercooler work! I am going to the muffler shop to work on both cars! My firebird needs a new exhaust system,
and my Grand am needs to have intercooler pipes mocked up.

Gonna be a long day!

subaru had that type of gauge holder as an option to hold the boost gauges on the prior gen WRX's, STIs and forester XTs. def a slick idea though, gives a pretty clean install

FUNNY.... Maybe my dash and "Johnny 5" from the movie Short Circuit have something in common.... Here are the new intercooler and repainted grille pics for your enjoyment...

I have to readjust the intercooler. It seems to be on a little crooked. I will install the wastegat tonight and work on the IC piping which I got back from the shop today...

Honestly I cant stand the front end of your car with that huge hole in it and I really don't know why you would want anyone to see your tranny cooler but I guess everything else looks good.

I actually really like yours since you are able to just cover the hole when your not at the track. I might try something like what you did when I start working on my setup.

I just don't like the idea of always having a huge hole in the bumper with no way of covering it.

Hot damn man... this was supposed to be a thread on my progress with pics and info for those who want to give a project like this a shot. It is starting to sound like a popularity contest.. sheesh!

Can you find a better way to mount an egine cooler and tranny cooler? There is virtually no way to mount stuff there without making some major mods. I guess that you would hate it if I did the same thing to my Firebird, huh?

I don't mean to jack your thread here I'm just saying what I'm thinking if you like it then that's cool I just think IMO it would look much better if you could still put the cover back on since their is really no need for that extra air flow unless your at the track anyways. And I didn't say their was a problem with the cooler being mounted where it is I'm just saying it would look a lot nicer if you put the license plate cover on for daily driving so it wouldn't be visible all the time.

Don't get me wrong I think your doing some good work I'm just posting my opinion.

It does look out of place. Can you still put the Pontiac cover over it? And instead run air vents from the intercooler towards the tranny cooler?

That doesn't look as bad. Mostly all ws-6's do the same when they supercharge them. Its a common with the f-bodies.

GEEZ... rome wasn't built in a day! I can't win......

Well... I don't have a plan for that, but it is really too late for it now...

The car did not come with a Pontiac cover. I can pick one up at the junkyard and use some velcro to attach it to the front. I prefer the benefit of having cooling for these options at all time...

Hey I said the turbo system was a great job don't take it the wrong way. I'll get a mock up of what I mean for you at work.
