I've had my ipod hidden behind my dash for..... well, for at least 3 years, on 3 different cars. Winter, summer, whatever. I just took it out last week to add some songs and the thing was as good as it was the day I bought it.

Damn I must just be unlucky. My ipod is just a little over a year old and it still looks like new but it doesn't work.

My screen froze and there are racing stripes all over it now. I guess it will work faster this way.

maybe the flash-based ipods do better in the cold than the hard drive ones. ill prbly just take it in, id rather not have to drop 250 bucks on a new ipod due to sitting in the cold.

I have a 160 GB iPod just dedicated to my car and it's plugged in and stored in the glove box all the time. No problems here. It's plugged into the back of my Alpine HU and I rerouted the cable so you can't see anything.

Cheesy tacos or chocolate covered fists? What's worse?

I wouldn't know... I double dip

Cheese and chocolate are everywhere by the time I'm done with my treachery.
