finally some pics

hey everyone, I rarely post so when I got ahold of a camera I snapped a few shots. Its not as clean as I would like but you get the idea, tell me what ya think.

There are a couple things that i will eventually get rid of such as the extra front lights, and new grills. I took the floor mats out for the ones i have are crap.

Looks pretty good, at least you've got a theme going.

How do you like the headlights?

That is a very tasteful GA imo. Nicely done.

Does the trunk seal up correctly? I know some people had issues with them sitting perfectly.

nice man looks good!

like your red grills, stands out just enough and brings nice contrast to the front of the car

A bit too much red in the interior, IMO. I've never been a fan of those projectors, and the trunk mod, just looks odd. Props for keeping it cleam, black is a PITA to keep clean.

I agree to much red going on. I do like the red/white on the doors I think you should carry that into the radio bezel. Paint the outsideedges white with red center.

Also take a look at redline they have the shift boots and e-brake boots that would really complement the interior.

yeah i would eventually get white boots with red threads and i just did the trunk for fun, would be great with flip flop hood and suicide doors just too expensive

not sure if there is a how to or not but a brief description:

1. Remove door panels
2. Remove the pieces of the door panel ( what you want to cover), had to break the plastic snaps holding them down
3. Cut out new material to cover the pieces, i used white vinyl
4. using spary glue, glue the vinyl down, be sure to keep pressure on until somewhat dry.
5. attach door pieces back onto panels, i flipped it so the underside faced up and used silicone at the same spots where it was originally attached with bricks holding the pieces down to dry overnight.
6. reattach door panels
7. Done!

Basically did the same thing to the rear piece by the back speakers

Also the red lines are just pieces of wire I painted and glued on.

I figured that folks just used dye like Rit to do the door panels, not cut new material and glue them over.

Learn something new every day.
