When I did my setup, I just got a 2.5" to 2" exhaust reducer for the turbo outlet

Heh, heh! Yeah... I simply bought that same reducer at Autozone and welded it to the flexpipe. The 2.5 goes into the intercooler inlet...

Its finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is great to be boosted! We completed the exhaust work at the shop today. It took about four hours, and it sounds AWESOME! I will have the pics tonight after I get home!!! The turbo is spooling around 2500 RPMS. I checked for leaks and problems, but there are none. Heck the oil pump is barely noticeable....

We are running on stock fuel, timing, injectors and pump so I can't romp on it just yet. The WG is set on 4lbs. I cut the CAT off and the check engine light has not come on yet...

I am so glad to be done. Let's see how it performs later...

I still have to paint the piping off the muffler and a small part of the turbo inlet pipe.

Does anybody know why my fuel pressure jumps to 70 psi when I go into boost??? I am using the stock fuel system completely, and it has never gone higher than 64 psi. Is thestock Fuel pressure regulator boost sensitive??

Well, if the manifold is pressurized, and the FPR is connected to the manifold via a vaccum line, that would be it. The pressure pushes down on the top side of the diapraghm in the FPR and increases the fuel pressure.

I think the difference with a boost referencing FPR, it will raise pressure at a 1:1 ratio versus whatever the stock one does.

Yeah.. I dont think that the FPR is gonna last long under these pretenses! I did an all out run on the street and sprang a leak on one of my charge pipe couplers.
I saw the pressure spike all the way to 75psi... This can't be good! I was trying to hold off on modding the fuel system right away. I might have to hold off on the boost for right now...

Well, I like the sound better with the muffler. It is a little too loud witout it. I got your PM. I will give you details as well...

I am trying to keep from messing up stuff. The 4 psi is good until I can get HPT
next month. No tune equals no fun.

Looks good man. A bit weird w/o the duals, but it works. Have you thought about getting the rectangular tips?

Honestly, I hate it without the duals. I am having a hard tme finding a set that looked similar to the factory duals, but I am not having much success. The last set was too long to fit so I gave them to my brother for his Firebird. Anybody know of a good chrome or Stainless set that I can get? Please send me a link or PM...
