You couldn't find a section on here because we don't allow posting about street racing on here. Posting a link where you talk about it on another forum isn't really a good idea either. We only promote racing at the track because too many people are stupid on the street and get in accidents. Also a lot of people like to post BS stories about beating cars that they could never beat with the setups they have, and it just starts arguments, so the moderators have found it easier to disallow those stories rather than trying to moderate the threads.

I agree. You at least need an adjustable rising rate regulator and turn up the fuel pressure a little. A fully tuned pcm and larger injectors would be ideal. You could and probably are already getting some KR and therefore actually losing some power from what you'd really be getting at 6psi tuned.

oK, I understad your point well. I will keep on topic. I wil enjoy the FI that I have now and get the car tuned. I am pretty sure that if I keep my foot off the floor that it won't blow up any time soon. Thanks for the advice.

It'll take abuse for awhile... but it's likely at some point the engine will get mad at you.

I thought for a minute that this happened!!!!!! I was not getting any boost at all and the car fell FLAT on its face.

Come to find out the main charge coupler at the compressor outlet blew completely off. sent the band clamp all the way to the other side of the car!
I put it back on last night. No problem with the motor....

Well.... I don't have a video camera, but I will see about borrowing one from a friend. I was hoping to get a timeslip from the local track sometime early this year too.

Right now my focus is on getting a good tune, finishing my Firebird, and starting the twinscroll project. I will try to find some time to get a quick vid during all that, but please don't hold my feet to the fire. I have an extremely busy schedule and ususally work seven days per week between two jobs. This is why it took me much longer to finish in the first place.

Believe it or not I took that pic at work. Autozone has some ancient technology. That thing is older than dirt.
