Another price drop? I got a question for you, my mom has an 01 Grand Prix special edition just like yours, but silver and non s/c. It only has 51k though. How much do you think it's worth?

NADA is what the banks go by. If its not priced around that no one would be able to get a loan for it. Un less they have cash for a down payment to get the loan down to what the bank thinks the car is worth.

With the options listed on this car and what it was ordered with to come from the GM factory, there was ~348 made the like my car. However banks don't care if it has something to make it worth more. To them its just a damn car.

For instance, my 99 GA is insured for $10,000. I was going to use it as collateral for a personal loan and the loan officer even came out and looked at it and said its only worth NADA value. which is $1700. Yea, great investment for me. damnit

Why so much on the GA? Do you have ~$8000 of audio equipment in there?

No, but thats about how much it will cost to replace all the parts.

Figure:
18"chrome 077s and tires - $1000
SC/T body Kit and paint - $1500 <-- original GM kit not a PFYC one
SC/T Spoiler and paint - $500 <-- GM factory spoiler
TOG ceramic headers - $1200 <-- no longer made
SLP , magnaflow cat, piping and welding to make it a true 2.5" exhuast - $500
CAI, custom DHP, & race ICCU - $800 - 1000 <-- would be very hard to duplicate, I don't think charles has that file anymore. Check ZZP's site, they don't have a race ICCU for the GA, thats the only one
NADA value of 99 GAGT with 120,000 miles - $2000

Right there is ~$7500 and that doesn't include the fan switch, blazer tech fog lights, clear corner headlights, A-pillar pod with electronic trans temp and a/f guages, tint, eibach springs, KYB stuts and whatever else I have in the car too.

Add up the time and labor and its over $10k easy. Since I have insured as a show car my full coverage 100/300 with $250 deductable is $250 a year and I can drive it as much as I want.

Now that I look back at it, I can't sell it for that much unless someone has saved up $10k in cash, otherwise no bank would put a loan out for it.

Well I bought the house and now that I have a kid I would like to get a 4-door. Its not bad to swing a car seat back there, but my 5'1" wife complains about it, .

New Price:
$6250 <-- the KBB suggested retail value is $8000 so someone buy the car, .

Pics can be seen here:
