Its actually legit (barring pics). Someone in another part of the forum told him to do it but he didnt get the sarcasm and went ahead and ran the hose. Its all in there if you read through the thread instead of stopping on page 1.

we did that with an old 85 325e. got it free from a previous idiot who claimed he never changed the oil once in the 4 yrs he had it.. i just wanted the interior so we revved the motor wide open for 5 minutes till it shut off.. damn thing still starts up to this day lmao
