Did you place the battery under the hood or in the trunk? If, you put it under the hood, did it come with brackets for the stock 75 series or did you have to purchase a new mounting bracket as well?? The Optima D34/78 measures 7.81" in height...is that terminal post incl.?? http://www.invertersrus.com/optimad34-78.html

i'd just like to 2nd the idel speeds of a H.O. i have a Ohio Generator high output, and at idle i get less then 12 volts out of it, with my headlights on. Ohio Gen claims to have over 100 amps at idle. which they do, if your car idles higher then 800 rpms. thats 200 more then the GA's and it makes a world of differnce. so for anything one buying a H.O make sure you ask them what rpm idle is.

i went with Motor city reman and i cant complain. it was only 180 to my door for a 160amp and i can run quite a bit at idle and not see much of a drop.

gotta havea good battery though too up front.

There's such thing?

I was under the impression they changed the stock alt in either 03.5 or 04. That's what my search has turned up anyways. I'm starting to think there's simply no such thing as a HO alt for an 04.
