I had my GXP for close to 14 months already. The car has been the best running Pontiac after 11,000 miles the only repair I had was to fix a loose side skirt on the car. I really enjoy mine.

Yeah yours is sharp, I have been looking lightly on craigslist etc. and only found 4 door, not a huge fan of 4 door styling Yours looks just like my brothers.

looking to hopefully trade in the GA this summer as it's really starting to piss me off with all it's issues for something with AWD. Winter in WI is a real bitch. My uncle is on his 2nd Subaru Outback and he loves 'em to pieces, so maybe I'll look into that.

^^^ Thought about a Subaru myself. I've always loved the look of the Legacy's. I haven't driven one, but I've sat in one. They're a little too small for me and the configuration didn't suit me either. Fitting my 6'-4" self in the backseat is next to impossible, too, so my 6'-8" brother-in-law wouldn't even come close. Western PA winters aren't wonderful, either, so that will have a lot of bearing on my next vehicle, too = truck or AWD something.

Any Subaru's other than a WRX STi are for Birkenstock-wearing lesbians.

ha no. doesnt seem as though you have driven a subaru in snow before.... after you do finally, your image of those damn things changes from "who the F cares about Subaru" to "I want I want I want"

You totally missed his reference to the fact Subaru's are marketed to the homosexual market.

Start thinking "convenience" rather than "looks."

If you're in school and have to move a lot, you'll thank me for recommending the 4-door.

Same reason I'm thinking more seriously about a TB over a G6 GTP Coupe. While the Coupe is better looking, and more "rare," the convenience of being able to go camping, take friends places, tow/haul a bike, or whatever, are more important than looking kewl for the most part. Besides, I'll likely move back home if I am working in Detroit, so I'll have teh GTOz to play with on weekends.

I think I'm staying in sedan country for awhile, but I'll probably look at larger cars than the grand am, we'll see.

I rarely drive more than me and other person around, but I find myself needing more storage room about twice a month

hmmmmm, my dads 05 caravan just came up from his company for 2,200, and they also have an 05 liberty for 3,700. I think I might buy one or the other to tow my toys with .

I would say get the Liberty, but honestly, with the Caravan you can do so much... haul like 7 friends, sleep comfortably in it if need be, and no one will mess with you-- including cops for the most part.

Tinted windows, small lift, black rims, aggressive tires.... it wouldn't be too bad.
