Opinions of Charger SRT8

This past month or so I've been looking into a new sports car, I would be getting rid of my Truck for a nice summer "sports car" I've been looking really hard at Gs... But I've wanted a SRT8 for awhile. Just want your guys thoughts on this... I wish I could get both

your 19, how the hell you gonna afford and STR8 anyway? I second Jake's opinion on them being lousy both performance wise and with the interiors...

anyways I think of em as land yachts like this:

They look mean as hell, but I'd test drive one first, then look into a G8 GXP.

have you driven one though? He seems to be after a driver's car more... and there's no sense of real power in the chargers (even though they DO have quite a bit on hand).

and im sorry you feel that way, I dont think much of you honestly either

i agree, G8 won most of the head to head tests between the two as well.

I would agree with both. I haven't had time to go test a G8 yet but prior to buying it I test drove both a Charger and Magnum SRT8...that was the only time I've ever felt like I was driving a luxury car in my GA.

Dodge/Chrysler interiors are HORRENDOUS IMO- seriously. It was so bad I was actually driving around faster to get back to the dealership to get OUT of the car!

If the GTO is any indication of what the G8 interior should be like than right there is more than enough reason to get a G8 over Charger.

or even better, you can hold out for a camAro.

i have always loved the look of the charger srt8, but never liked its cheap interior or the lack of performance (for a 425hp motor). you can do better for the money, although these days you might be able to get a decent deal on one.

yes the G8 interior is much nicer than the GTO interior even.

the chrysler 300 srt8 is a little more luxurious and its practically the same car, but i do agree with the others the interiors do kinda suck, mostly the dash is what i dont like.

A good friend has an SRT8 Charger. While I don't really care for the interior, the car is pretty bad a$$. He has a cold air intake, zoomers exhaust and a diablo sport tuner. The SOB will blow the doors off just about anything. And as far as not feeling like it has any power...I've ridden in it a few times and was reduced to giggling with glee when he stomped on it and got sideways.

Anyone with half a brain would make that decision.

And look half the guys who responded did that and they don't even meet THAT requirement.
