I overall don't like it, but if you're going to be parking in the city that often, you'll be happy with the plastic body panels. Plus it does have vteks!

Yeah that's another thing... they are pretty damn durable, and cheaper(er) to repair.

...But I am starting to like the higher level on content the TB has. But the effing mp3 input on the Saturn is like... what I base my entire decision on

I had a 07'. I liked it alot actually not to mention i could tow our Pop-up Camper with it just fine. There not the prettiest looking SUV on the road but it will run a long time. Gotta love that Honda Power Plant.

15K for 10,000 Mile's isn't that bad. If u can get it around 13-14k that would be better. They do have horrible resale value, then again everything does right now.

V6 or I4?

My family has two 04's, both purchased brand new, both with around 50-70k miles on them now. Both are I4s w/ CVT, one AWD and one FWD. I've driven them both a lot.

Pros- Fairly nimble, parks/drives well, gets decent mileage, neither has had a single problem, the black one we have looked really nice when I slapped the 077's on there just for lulz, both do really well in the snow w/decent tires

Cons- seats suck, kinda plasticy

Overall, I liked them. I've already told my family that when they are done with one of them, I want it.

I really think it's this vs. a TB. Which makes you groan less, Rich?

(I'd guess the TB... its at least more "manly" )

but if you don't need a TRUCK so to speak, the vue or any of its variants (torrent/nox) might be a nicer choice as far as amenities.

Well my mom used to have TB's forever, and I loved driving those. I'll hopefully get to drive this one and see what I think... As far as the "truckiness" I require, I'd say I'm erring towards the TB because I do occasionally drive on ****ty roads, including dirt and off (nothing ridiculous). I just feel like the TB is "tougher"... probably because I beat the piss out of moms,

Probably, yes. I did take the AWD Vue out to South Dakota a couple years ago while pheasant hunting with family friends, and I was able to keep up thru the fields and crappy roads with all the pickups they all had out there

Just looked over some SmartAuction reports of what these go thru auction for... and I'd say the price is relatively high... by maybe 2g's.

And the more I look, the more it seems like the TB is a better value. They have much more content (MSRP's of 28k going for the same price as the 23k Vue). I'd like to get a late model 2007, where they changed the front and rear bumpers to the most recent style.

Yes, they used the Honda Engine up until the redesign in 08 or it might be classed as a 09.
