Runs mid-high 15s stock, so.... yes, in the 1/4, and I'm guess yes in the slalom as well.

Thats pretty silly.
I'm curious to know what the MPG are on both cars. The Challenger better be getting at least 10mpg more to even remotely justify those bad performance numbers.

Pretty much all its good for.... that and something for 40 year old rednecks to cruise in and get spanked by 16 year old girls in V6 family cars

Wow, yeah thats pretty pathetic for the Dodge. Of course, it's not much different from the V6 camaro being better than the base V8 model mustang. Seems like the Ford and Dodge are only nice if you get the up level models, whereas the Camaro has a very solid entry level model. Heck if I couldn't afford a V8 and was looking for a new car I'd seriously consider a v6 Camaro. Sure the V8 would be much nicer, but the V6 looks like a very solid car. 14.2 in the quarter is pretty good for a daily driver, and 107ft 60-0 braking... solid!

Plus, the Camaro is pretty open in terms of options... you can order 20" wheels, nice sound, leather etc on the V6, or order a stripped V8 version with nothing but power.

Wow, Dodge really dropped the ball on that one. Now if I can find a V6 Challenger to run against....love to see the look on the dude's face when I blast by him!
Some info on the engine: 3.5-liter high-output single overhead cam 24-valve V6 engine generates 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm with 250 pounds-feet of torque at 3,800 RPM (why not DOHC?) The 3.5-liter High-Output SOHC V6 engine offers: * Consistent speed and reduced emissions with a dual-tuned intake manifold and a sophisticated electronic throttle control system * Tailored pedal-movement response based on operating conditions. (no matter how hard you punch it, you're still slow!) Press the pedal down to feel your spirits rise. Feel even better knowing that you're backed by our exclusive Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty[1].(I'd feel like an idiot for buying the V6) |
