Sweet, keep us posted. If you really want to refinish them, I can tell you how I have polished engine components to a mirror like finish. The black with red looks sick though.

Good quality paint actually works pretty well on rims. A friend of mine home-painted his volks and they came out very nice and have held up well for the past two years (and even one winter). Get some decent paint and do them how you like.
