The wheels are too blingy for me. And not digging the half-assed body kit look. IMO, put the stock front bumper back on, nab a set of GT tails and lower it.

I wrecked it last winter. and instead of paying a $500 deduct on the insurance i fixed the bumper myself and did it the way i wanted.. total cost for bumper and paint $535

Finishing the rest of kit this summer. its next.. but got the rims i really wanted first...

like i said before. my parents have my GT tails. but i dont like the stock look

it all comes in time.... and money...

It still looks bad when you only have parts of a full body kit. IMO, I would have gathered all the pieces first, paint them, then mount them all at once, rather than have the half assed look. And what's wrong with the stock look? GT means going SC/T, and the SC/T look is hotter than any cheesy body kit for the GA.

only problem with gathering all the pieces first is he did not have a front bumper cover, it was wrecked so if the alternative is to run with no front bumper cover or go with the after market one you want its a no brainer.

Could have done better, chrome looks good, but the star design could have been better 7/10

Still should have kept it stock IMO. Would have been cheaper to buy a GT bumper anyway.

Sure would have been cheaper to buy a replacement gt cover but why waste the money, as he said he is putting a full kit on why would you buy the same part just to take it off soon?

I figure I can either give them a straight reply, or sugar coat and lie to them.

I don't sugar coat.

And I like to promote respectability for the Grand Am as it was once a car many of us older folks pavd the way in modding. Now it seems most are american r1cemobiles.
