What size tire do you guys suggest? Its going to be awhile before I lower it, so should I get bigger tires?

No do not get taller tires, for 18's get 225/40/ZR18
If you can not afford to drop it and get the 18's then just keep the 20's on till you can get the springs. and if the struts have lots of miles on them or are getting saggy change them at the same time it will make your life a lot easier or you will be doing the same work over again.
I recommend getting the KYB GR2 struts.
