I wanted a 2009.5 G8 GT with the 1SD packages (= Premium & Sport's package with sunroof) in Pather Black Metallic, & black on black interior.

Sport's package = 19" wheels & Bridgestone Potenza RE050A summer tires, metal pedals, & better leather steering wheel.

For the Sport's package MSRP of $710 Cdn, I wanted it.


1st there was no shipments of the 2009.5 coming to Canada.
Then there were no 2009 G8 GT with the 1SD package in Pather Black Metallic in Canada left.
Then the last 2009 G8 GT Magnetic Grey Metallic in the 1SD package in Canada was sold before I could get it tagged.
(All they had left in Canada, in the 2009 G8 GT with 1SD package was: white hot, liquid red, & sport's red metallic.)

So now I have one of the last 2009 G8 GT with the 1SC package (Premium package with sunroof) in Pather Black Metallic, with black on black interior in ON.

keep the tires on the car that come with it. Check ebay and G8 Boards for someone selling their stock 19's and buy those and put them on. Trust me, just like the GTO, a majority of aftermarket wheels going on G8's are focking hideous. don't feel bad buying and rocking the stock 19's. They got "it right" for once with stockers.

In fact, they are better looking IMO than the ugly G8 GXP wheels (which are a badly modified rip off of the CTS-V wheels IMO)
