FS: HID kit for fogs

Old Oznium plug and play kit. 6000k temp. Comes with ballast, bulbs, and all the plugs needed to operate.

Note: These are for the fogs. You will need to use the old rubber washer from the stock bulbs in order for them to seat properly.

Stock is on the left, HID is on the right. Note the BLACK rubber washer/gasket sitting there. The stock gasket/washer is at the base of the stock bulbs. Comes off real easy just like the black one that came with the kit did.

SOLD

Will these work in the stock plastic housings? Or do you need glass? Thanks

I would HIGHLY suggest to use the Optiuz Hella Angel Eye Driving Lights found on PFYC.com

Alright well i do have a 6k H1 kit sitting around and while i have a 8k in my fogs
now, i will just let those burn the life away out of those fogs and then get the Hella's and
toss the 6k in those. Awesome!

grims01gt: I have the stock plastic housings and never had any issues with the bulbs melting anything. I can't speak for anyone else.

This particular setup is a full kit and I'm selling it with ALL the associated hardware including the bulbs that came with it.

HID's will not cause the plastic to melt. They run cooler than halogen's. Just an FYI.

In my 55w kit in my Hella Optiux Fogs, After about 5 mins of them being on you cant leave your fingers on the glass for no more than 5 seconds. And thats glass, The OEM plastic will melt and become distorted. Ive seen it happen

That is a 55w kit, what about the standard, 35w kits?

The 35W kits run cooler, the 55W are hotter and will require a glass housing

The 55w Kit is 40% brighter than the 35W and kit. The 55w kit also produces more heat than the 35w kit.

Correct. The Hella's are a glass housing as OEM is plastic

These haven't melted my housings at all so they're fine for stock applications.

Nope, the stock headlights on the Legacy's are not HID.
