2010 Camaro SS, 1st in my town, One Pic

I switched two lanes to get to this thing tonight, its absolutely amazing. Interior is 5 stars. The Exterior in breathe taking, I would do a lot to own one.

Far from it. It's actually quite atrocious, and something almost everyone associated with viewing the car thinks, even if they love the exterior.

Not really, 3.5 out of 5 stars. The gay ass end alone takes 1 star away.

Are you guys serious!!! Maybe I'm too young to expect what you guys hope to see in a 2010 Camaro, but its everything I would want. The only thing I didn't like was the fake side vents. I just can't believe dude said he would take a caddy over the camaro ! Its a great car no matter where ur standing, front, back, side.....especially for GM. I could see if it was something that was overpriced but c'mon its a part of our family.....jus not immediate .

Sell the SS for $26k, and you got yourself a nice deal.

you're right, you're too young to see reality. This car is no where near the greatness many at GM, or stuck in the F-body homerism clubs, believe it is.

I would take a CTS-V over this car as well ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Better looking car and better performing in every aspect....plus it has 4-doors and can be a luxurious DD. Until the other day, I didn't know I could get a new CTS-V at GMS price for $58k. I thought they were like $75k..........................

They're about the same price right?
You're not comparing apples to apples which is not fair to the Camaro.

the car is not meant to have the best interior. its a camaro. you want caddy interior get a caddy. of coarse it,ll be more than 35k. you forget some sacrifices in interior quality has to be made if you want performance. its actually 31 k. see how many cars you can find 425 horses for the much money.... yes the caddy is nice buts in a different level of car any ways. camaro should be compared to the mustang, charger/challenger. once u do that comparison than youll see the camaro is actually the better deal.

anyways to all his own. i like it. sorry that you dont

35k or 31k, whatever, that is if you already ordered one, from a current day stand point it would cost 40k+ to get one right now, or if you order one for 30k something, it is gonna take 1 or 2 years before you see it.

If I am talking right now, I will take a fully loaded 2005 or 2006 cts-v about 20kwith 405hp, and a 6 speed with the sweet interior, yeah even the older ones own the camaro ss IMO, then put 20k into and rape a new camaro in cadillac luxury...

it IS NOT 31k if you get ANY sort of normal goody upgrades. So, if you pay $31k for the bare bones SS then great, you paid $31k for 425HP....an even bigger ripoff than spending $35k and at least getting good options on the car.

If all you want is over 400HP...then spend $19k on a used 2006 GTO and have a better interior car (and probably better built overall).

LULZ at "the car is not meant to have the best interior". I can see the engineers right now sitting around the table:

Joe Engineer: Hey guys, ya know what, this is a sports car, it's not suppose to have a good interior.
Debbie Designer: Yeah, your right, $30k and 425HP doesn't mean these people want to sit in something comfortable and nice to look at...lets just make it crappy!!
Larry Lazyunionworker: I got another idea, lets take 20HP off the car if you want it with an automatic!!
Group: YEAHHHHH...THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT....GM FTW!

I would take a '09 Cadilliac CTS-V too; over a '10 Camaro SS.

Let see:
6.2L V8 Supercharged engine that makes 556 hp @ 6,100 rpm and 551 lb-ft of torque @ 3,800 rpm !!!
0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
Brembo brakes with 6-piston front & 4-piston rear, front rotors 14.57" & rear rotors 14.37"

My salesperson wants me to come in on a nice slow day in the summer time; & go for a test drive in a '09 Cadilliac CTS-V.
(Everytime I went in for my '09 Pontiac G8 GT, I was drooling over the one on display. I told him I want one at retirement, if they still are making them like that.
PS: & they also had a used Challeger SRT-8 on display too )

The CTS-V is nice, they used to impress me but now its just so so. Why try and compare it with a camaro though. This car represents GM just fine, it has performance and shine. The price on the camaro is great, the caddy not so bad either, but it looks like **** compared to a camaro ss. The ctsv performance is better though thanks to a sc. IMO I think your just a little to old........that caddy has plenty of trunk space for your wheelchair grandpa.

I'd take the CTS-V, previous gen and current any day of the week over the Camaro.

I can **** my girl in the backseat, I can take out the posse, I can dump the dead hooker in the trunk that my boy accidentally offed when we were outside the club, plus there's all the bonuses that the car rags talked about. Did I mention that I look better in a Cadillac than I do a Camaro?

Even w/o the s/c the CTS-V would be a superior performing tank.

Did I mention I'm 25?

A: I saw a new Camaro (yellow) on the back of a semi trailer 2 days ago. It was driving away from a Chevy dealership down the street, so I decided to drive up there real quick to see if maybe they got a couple of them dropped off... but nothing. It looked great.... for being on the back of a semi trailer. Has the official release date come and gone for them or what?Everyone I ask and every site I go to find out seems old or just "sometime early 2009." I would've thought I'd see a few on the road by now. In this area of the country, for whatever reason, I tend to see a lot of new cars on the road before I read about other area's seeing them.

B: Since when do we compare a Camaro with a Cadillac? Of course the new V-series Caddy's are serious kick-ass machines, with refinement, quality, and an awesome design. The new Camaro isn't typically meant to be in the same breath as a Cadillac, no matter how fast or powerful either car is. Just because they both have derivatives of the same motor? Sorry, thats kind of a silly reason. Both cars are cool in their own right, but for different reasons.
