LED black housing Tails

The drivers side does allow a little condensation inside, hasn't been much as I don't really drive it in the rain. I usually took them off b/c they disabled the cruise on my car for some reason.I did try to put one bead of clear silicone near the fin and used another silicone further back to try and seal where I thought the water was coming in, Lens should be easy to remove..
I was thinking $110 + shipping/obo Thanks for looking!!

Hey I don't want to lowball you so if no one expressed any interest and you wanna let them go for a bit less let me know via email, lance_spitzig69@hotmail.com . I am slightly reluctant since I live in Canada with rain and snow but might give em a try. Hope to hear from you and good luck with the sale.

I can't really go any lower...I'm already loosing money, I understand you can get these for 215 shipped to canada, so 100 less is a decent deal I'd say..

How tricky are these to wire up? I've been wanting LEDs fpr a while, but was worried because I dont want to mess with resistance and crap like that.

They were basically plug and play..The only thing I had problems with was the cruise control was disabled because of the resistance...I don't know if the 00 would be the same. I think 99's are the year you need a resistor installed, could be wrong tho

Ya that is a pretty good deal I will say. I have a 99' gagt, would these just be plug and play or you said something about installing a resistor?

I believe you need a resister, or you will have a SES light on, but I'm not sure...Join over on GAOC and talk to Sammybammy, I think he had this done. I can ask him for you tho..I'll pm you about it later..

the cruise control disable is because there is no resistance in the brake circuit. Though if your third brake light is regular bulbs you should have that.
I changed my third brake and have similar tails I added a 2k, I think, resister to the third brake light and cruise worked fine.

double check that resistor cause I have a LED 3 light. I will have to wire it in before one of the lights, I like my cruise.

ok I will have to check that tomorrow, my wife has the car and she is at work now.
I wired the resister in the third brake light, just before the new led's was quick, simple and very painless.
Though I did have to do some trial and error on the size because too much turned off the abs.

Hmm... is it just these specific tails that delete the cruise? I have had LED bulbs in my cleared stock tails and an LED 3rd brake light for well over 5 years now with no problems with my cruise. I have a '99 GT.

I think it has to do with the way the circuit board for these is setup. LED's in stock housing might have the resistance needed? You have the led 3rd brake light might be the way it was made. I read that some manufactures never had trouble, others did.

I have a 99 and have the Smoked LED taillights and have no issue with the cruise control. So it was based on the taillight.
