I don't mind the Camaro's interior. Is it gorgeous, no, but it is evocative of the original. At least it is different, the challenger's is strait off the dodge/chrysler parts shelf.

I like the Challenger, but I just think they are too retro, as in they look too identical to the originals. I like the meaner stance of the Camaro and that it has the retro cues, but with a modern flair.

We can go back and forth on this till we are blue in the face. It all comes down to personal preference and nobody is going to change anybody else's mind on that

Just read the comparo of the Challenger, Camaro and Mustang in Motor Trend. It is a sweet looking set of cars all parked together.

What is sad is that some moron will pay it, so dealers will continue the practice. If nobody bought cars for 10-20K over sticker, maybe dealers would stop doing it.

uhmmm, none of those are real aside from the old school one in the first pic. Production models look nothing like that, and the convertible model is indefinitely shelved.

I just read that the convertible is back on, just pushed back a bit now from its original date. The blue one is kitted, but the convertible isn't far from the real thing, but yes, they area ll the pre-production prototype models.

Just face it your challenger is an over priced overweight car.. Cant compete with the lighter cheaper swifter camaro or mustang.. worse handling, worse braking(30 feet worse might i add), worse fuel economy and slower.. end of story since you cant win that arguement .It has been proven wrong already

just watch this video

kinda funny how you hate the intereor since the motortrend crew liked it the best out of the three.

True, but were not talking about anything that isn't able to be overcome on the road in a driver's race.

You're hopeless though, as proof by your comments and sig.....you are clearly one of those people who thinks GM can do no wrong and has the best vehicle even if it came with a pile of Doberman sh1t in the center console.

P.S. I totally care what motor trend thnks, them and Car and Driver are SOOOO reliable of a source.

Let it be noted that i did not start the name bashing

I know it is a R/T AmRammingAAbatteriesupmyassM4

The comparison they did was between 3 evenly priced sports cars.. the SRT 8 in canada is 47950 loaded (ranges from 44900-47950)

the camaro ss ranged from 36000-40000 .. so obviously you cant even compare the 2 of them..hense why they compare it to the R/T.. If you want to compare the SRT8 then you step up into the line of fire of a corvette fine sir since the base model vette is the same price as a challenger srt8

Even if they were tested together the camaro has better breaking, better fuel economy(by about 5 mpg) and does the 1/4 miles a tenth of a second quicker(and that is at about 7-8 grand less so you throw a supercharger on the camaro with your left over money and you will walk on any pony car in your way.

and no i dont eat and breathe gm.. I am just a fan of the camaro and it has alwasy kicked the mustangs ass for the last 25 years in performance for the most part and i cant stand seeing every **** cheese driving v6 versions of the car around it annoys me actually

Thanks for proving my point.

This is like a Porsche 911 (997) comparison where Porsche says they have the best performing car in its class, but they leave out the Z06 and ZR1 because it's cheaper. But in reality they perform as good or better. Fair comparison for Porsche's results?

alrighty? not sure how that is your point, you are saying that they should have used the SRT8 not the R/T.. I said the camaro ss, mustang gt and challenger r/t they tested were priced evenly(hense why they didnt use the SRT8) If they were to use that model it would be lined up against the Mustang GT500 not the GT and also the Corvette not the camaro..
