Coolant pipe

I looked through the parts breakdown but I couldn't find this part. Can anyone identify what I need to order here? My coolant is leaking out of one of the connections (pictured) and I need to know what the part number or name is for entire metal pipe this is connected to. As you can see, it's rusted out a bit and yes, I know the clamp is further back than normal. The mechanic said that's the only way he was able to stop it from spraying coolant after he rebuilt my entire engine (long story, read the "When it rains..." thread if you're curious.) Please help!

Refresh my memory, apart from directing coolant into the throttle body, does that have any other use? I'm thinking if its gone bad and just brings coolant to the tb why not look into getting rid of it?

It connects to 3 or 4 different places. I'm not sure what all it feed but I know that if it leaks coolant, that's a bad thing.

I'm looking at some of the technical papers he left in my car when he built the engine and I'm starting to think this part might be the Thermostat Bypass Pipe but I'm not certain. Does that sound right to anyone?

Take it off, wire wheel it or blast it, and JB weld it. That is the easiest fix for that piece. You don't need the lines going to the throttle body, which is what you have circled in the second pic.

Okay, I'm not leaning toward the thermostat bypass name anymore. Further research has me leaning towards the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Vacuum Hose now but I'm still not certain.

Are there any 3.4L engine gurus here who can help? I really want to get my car running again and I'd rather replace the entire assembly than attempt a patch job on this.
