Listen... it should be something really easy. You might have an ignition control module that went out also. Same thing happened to my 3800. Car ran like $#!+
and I had it replaced. Runs like a charm now. Don't count on the motor being intenally damaged yet until you have isolated all other vairables... If you can't figure it out then just take it to a reputable shop and let them tell you.

I really don't think anything inside is messed up, id start hearing knocking... and tapping and whatnot, and i have absolutely no metal yet... either way, im respecing that motor, replacing everything... if we get the 250$ back from college u can bet ur ass this thing is getting cammed for sure... but as of now im just doing top end. im pretty impressed overall with the bottom end. but with me being in college i doubt ill have time to get this done before summers over to run it. it'll be like last year.

dude you are the most indecisive person i have ever had to listen to or read or anything. First you wnt to turbo, then you dont want to, but end up doing it anyway. then you immediately want to sell it, but then you dont and now youre open to offers again. Now you say youre internals are shot, but backpedal and say " well i dont have metal, so theyre not bad" Make up your damn mind already and stop post whoring.

Vacuum leaks can be tested with flammable sprays and gases (carb cleaner, propane, etc.). Just spray where it might be leaking.

Instead of second guessing your self all day, you can going out and diagnose this stuff. You're throwing out all these possibilities on here then changing your mind as to which one it is. Find out how to test for said issues and use the process of elimination.

Also, an exhaust gasket blowing out is not a boost leak. That is an exhaust leak. If a lot of oxygen is getting in before the o2 sensor, I could see that causing problems.

Get out there and figure it out.

Not likely.

Scan for a code.

Scan to see what values your map returns.

It's easy to test this on a 3400.
