install!!!
Well installed my w7 in my grand am today heres some pics. Unfortuantly we already ran into a problem, my clarion amp went into protect mode.

connect it to the fuse panel under the hood and ground it to rear seat hinges and install a toggle switch

i'm running 2 12w3's with an alpine 1000watt amp and mine does that too. i have been told the big 3 will help aswell. just haven't had time just yet but that is an awesome sub

i havnt seen a differnece and hope i never have too :P i got a cap back there so technically i shouldnt even need to do it. but imma do it anyways cuz thats the right way to do.

well i have a 1 farad cap and when my bass hits my volt gauge on my apillar dips below 10 volts. so i'm going with an optima battery, big 3, and re-doing my grounds from my amp and cap and that should do the trick

i was just suggesting a connection that i've used that has never had problems, although a good cause my be too much power

i've actually read that running oem alt with a big 3 works just as good and creates less of a strain compared to an HO alt

do the big 3, and make sure you grind your ground wire connections down to bare metal.... worked for me....
