selling it in pieces is the only way it will sell. no one every buys full systems online. sell individually

i haven't looked at specs on capacitors yet... but i know i need one and/or a high performance alternator and pulley... will a 1 farad reduce headlight dimming when cranked up at night?

Your not going to get much of anything out of a 1 Farad Cap, I have a single 12" Alpine Type R that will drain it and still flicker my lights running on the Memphis 1000D Amp w/ 2Ga power wire. You can get like 5 Farad Caps, but I think anything over a 3 will be efficient enough for a 1500watt system or less. (Im no sound technician, this is just an educated guess).

wtf? then something is wrong with your set up. a 1 farad cap is plenty. who makes your cap that it still dims your lights? a 1 farad is plenty for that set up. i have a stinger 1 farad cap on my 2 jl 12's in a HO box and 1000watt class D amp and it pumps more that my alpines did and i still don't have a problem with dimming lights. before i ran the jl woofers i ran 2 12" type R's and i never had a dimming problem.

1 farad is fine

a 1 farad cap is for amps 1000 watts or less. i never had a problem with dimmin lights since i put it all in. but right now im gettin a new system plus i have a deep cell battery in the trunk. soo to put the red to optima battery and then im removing the deep cell for that. i removed the cap and left it just with the extra battery and had no problems with dimmin lights. and i was pushin 1500 watts. now ive got a 2500 watt amp and dual JLs no dimmin lights at all.

and very easy. HO alt's i've heard no good things about so a cap and the big 3 would much more efficient and cheaper than say dry cell batteries and alt's and all that jazz
