Now all of these products on wot-tech are not their just for looks.
http://www.wot-tech.com

Take a setup like angrysk8r's and combine it with even a mildly built 3400 and a decently built trans and you have a 12 second car. With all of the parts available right now I have no doubt in my mind that the 3400 can be running 11's.
I could make one run 10s. Maybe someday I will.

x2, it is a good starter car in which to learn about what it takes to keep a car in good working order.

i believe angryskater just has a very "simple" turbo setup

He made tubular manifolds, a crossover, a 3" mandrel downpipe all for a few hundred dollars, then bolted a 150$ Holset turbo to it.

Injectors, fuel pump, tuned... and came up with the fastest trapping 3400... in a 99+ n-body

I can't speak for all platforms. Don't know what those records are.

I modded mine to make it look better and sound better. I don't care how fast it is? Some of us don't care about racing, or making the car fast they just want it to look and sound good. I love my 04 GAGT and I think its a great looking car. I will probably keep this car as long as I possibly can.

I mod my GA and could care less about what others think. It's mainly guys with V8 cars (Focking F-body guys. ) That tell me that the car is a waste of time, get "a real car". Well excuse me for thinking outside of the box and modding a GA. Modded GA's are a rarity on Long Island, aside from my friends Lizz and Guy. If I had a nickel for every single freaking modded Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, Evo, STi, Mazdaspeed3 and Altima that rolled around my neck of the woods, I'd be one rich mofo. I will continue to mod my GA with glee.

^ This guy speaks the truth

If a company like wot-tech or mp racing started offering turbo kits and custom ss exhaust systems im sure alot more people would mod up there GA. I know milzy already supposedly makes a turbo kit but we need a maker with reliability and well truthfulness

A racing block from wot-tech would be nice too but im only day dreaming

How much did it cost him and how long will it last before it blows up? Streetability and reliability are always a good thing but when you push a 3.4 to far you lose it all, not to mention our bulletproof transmissions . It's just not the most sought after performance format.

It didn't cost him much at all. I dont know exact numbers but Shock24z just said "He made tubular manifolds, a crossover, a 3" mandrel downpipe all for a few hundred dollars, then bolted a 150$ Holset turbo to it"

So it's not like he had to spend big money on it and as for reliability I don't see an issue when done correctly a turbo 3400 can be very reliable.

A real car? What's a car? Wheels, engine, brakes, etc. Beauty is in the eye beholder.

If companies like them offered them: Honestly who would really buy them ?

We have people that whine & bitch about the cost of a CAI here.

I would love Mark of MP Racing to have pre-made kits out there for GA's.
But who really would put their cash where their month is ?

Ben & Mark would be in much better financial shape (meaning they would be well off) if people did

PS: I sure some of the veterans recall incidents of group buys that don't go through because people always back out.

Could you imagine the R&D cost if the companies make eveerything we ask for; but no one ever buys enough of them to even break even ?

Anyone recall Racer Betty LMAO

IMO, I would rather spend the money doing it right: & buy a Pontiac G8 GXP
RWD check
LS3 engine check
6-speed manual (or auto) check

& to top it all off: 5-years GM powertrain warranty.
