Group buy on RKSport Grand Am SC/T hood (Ram Air hood) 10 sales=$400 = 42.5% off

I contacted RKSport and asked them if they would give a discount on the SC/T hood if I could get a group buy going. They said sure as long as I do all the work of gathering the members and getting emails, and other information.

First we can just start a list of user names that want to participate, and when we are all ready RKsport wants me to get the following information from each member who wants a hood: email address, user name, full name, and telephone through PM, I will then email them all of the info at the same time in a list ordered by who signed on first. RKsport will contact you once I email them. If you are not comfortable sending me some of the info I will just send what you give me and hope it is enough.

After I send the email, RKsport will contact you for your payment.

Note: THESE HOODS MUST ME MADE,THEY ARE NOT MADE ALREADY, ONLY ONE CAN BE MADE PER DAY, THEY WILL SHIP IN ORDER OF WHO GETS ON THE LIST FIRST.

PLEASE ONLY PARTICIPATE IF YOU REALLY WANT THE HOOD IT IS TO HARD TO KEEP ADDING AND REMOVING PEOPLE FROM THE LIST!

Hoods are Gel coated. Your choice of paint shop must: prime, paint and clear coat.

I have until 7/31/09 to send him the list of members who want the hood.

RETAIL $695.00

10 hoods at $400 each 42.5% off (+shipping)

****VOID 5 hoods sold = 25% off = $521.25 VOID****

****VOID 10 hoods sold = 30% off = $486.50 VOID****

Shipping is $110.00 to a business address in lower 48 states ONLY

And $145.00 to a residential address in lower 48 states ONLY.

If you have any questions contact me and I will find out if I do not already know the answer.

I am getting one regardless of what happens, but thought I would try to save myself and some other people some money. These are probably the best aftermarket ones available based on what I have heard on the web. It sure beats $1000 from GM after taxes and all.

Constructed from hand-laid, quality, high-impact fiberglass.

The below photo is Gagt518's (Tom's), he has the RKsport hood on his car: picture used with permission

response: Our hoods are Gel coated.

Prime, paint and clear coated is the typical procedure.

Umm..might want to read that again. They come gel coated. You'll need to pre-fit, prime, paint then clear coat yourself before putting on the car.

do you still want in.

I don't know much about autobody painting.

I guess they come with a gel coat. Then you take it to a paint shop and they prime, paint, and clear coat it. Thats what I got from what he said.
