def looks better than the 20's... Perhaps the 20's would look better if you had a kit on

I didnt want 17s, and its not the wrong tire size. Their not tall, and they dont rub.

They are. With 18"s, you need a 225/40 R18 tire. It'll throw off the speedo with what you have. "Comfort" is no excuse to have the incorrect tire size.

I like them. They look realllll good.

235 MAX for 18s. That's what I have. Ride is a little harsh, but that's what you get with big wheels!

[ChaosweaveR] 40 is too thin for around here and I don't like the way it looks without it lowered. its lower than it was with the 20s on it, and the 20s threw off the speedo alot more. Sorry, but its my car and I think it looks fine for now.

GA_mayne thanks! I didnt like the 235s thats what I was gona get at first, and these dont ride rough at all. My 20s were horriable

JRYAN34 Yea but stocks cost more, and thanks

More details please and thanks , offfset ? bolt parttern ? What finish are they chrome or hyper black or hyper silver > sort of a satin painted finish. They look like hyper blk ,if they are hyper blk is it some type of painted on finish or just a darker poilishing , ( not talking about the straight blk finish they also are made in ) .. Exact part number would be great too. thanks

Do me a favor messure that FLAT deep dish part of the rim PLEASE ?

Am I correct that when you say lip ,you me that very outer edge lip were the bead of the tire sits ??? If so it that have slightly rounded or angle flatter edge lip.

I would like go with the same thickness of tire since mine is not now and maybe a while or not ever get lowered ????

But wounder if a wider tire may have looked bit better / more tire bulge from that rim lip/ edge, thus making that lip less noticable. Question is would they then rub and that would be a 235 that gives a fatter wider tire look yes ???

I always like to see a small amount of tire buldge versus the tr=ire side walls being tucked in/under alot .

i think your rims look very nice i like them alot

i dont think 235''s would of been to wide on a 8.5 rim i love my 235's but i went with the 40 series tires though to try and keep the stock height as close as possible. but 45 series are not wrong for a 18' rim at all if thats the ride height u like. just go get yourself a 4 wheel alighnment and see how much they can adjust for the difference

Thank you!
Everythings aligned, its not a big difference between a 40 and a 45, so its not that much taller

so which do you have >> 18x8.5 , 114.3 >>> 20/35/45 offset. what's your colour ?

I would like to see real photo's of the hyper black. and find out if it is a polished finish or some type of painted finish ????

Do me a favor messure that FLAT deep dish part of the rim PLEASE ?

according to the chart on the website mentioned above , the closet i see to your EXACT size in hyper black is >>ST1185851435HB.....18x8.50 , 5x114.3 , 35 HYPER BLACK

i see your exact size but only in black and chrome. when you can , if you would just measure that flat lip so i can better tell the depth / deep dish amount. i am guessing by the photo's 1.5 or maybe 2 inch.

Nice choice on rims, I know what you mean about ride quality. Well more so road conditions. I run a 245/40/18 and still cracked a rim on a pot hole. I don't know what would have happened if I had a smaller side wall

Oh yea, no rubbing with that tire size either...

rims

if you would please when you get a chance, great to have that measurement. so figure that hyper blk is more like a applied polish finish versus a painted on colour , correct???...

looks almost gunmetal. gun mental finishes work well with my 2000 silvermist metallic . dark shade of silver as apposed to yours .galaxy sliver metallic...

found these real / actual photo's of the hyper blk finish
