there are quite a few motels in the area however I have not stayed at any of them so I cannot vouch for their quality

I did an extended weekend at one; during AJ's South Bend, IN meet last year.
& stayed a night in the Super 8 Prospect Heights/Northbrook last year for 1-night; waiting for my buddy that lives in Glenview, IL to drive back from Toronto.

Looks like this year I need a motel too; as my buddy in Glenview, IL is leaving for TX that week.

I'm still debating on dates & location.

couldn't get off work and other things going on as well.

I am unable to attend as well, my birthday is the 5th and we are celebrating mine and my dads on the 7th, and I will be in no shape for that long of a drive the next day.

Chicago area GTO & G8 owners - Chicago Holden Connection: Chicago Midnight Madness '09 cruise on Aug 1, '09 is at over 50-cars for the rally/cruise.

& word is even starting to get out to LS1 forums too.
So maybe even more cars are going to show.
