Gauging Interest: 18" CHROME Eagle 077
Hey all again, its been a real long time since I've been back on here. Well its time for me to be a grown up and start pharmacy school in 3 weeks, and I have found that I am already in severe deep debt!! I've been packing up getting ready to move and found a set of pristine (4) 18" Eagle 077 chrome (NOT high polished) wheels that I never put on my GA. I need the money for books and rent, but if interest isnt there or money offered isnt where I think they're worth...then I'm going to hold onto them. I traded in my GA for my current A4 in May of 2007 and they have just been sitting in the storage unit. I just have never had the heart to get rid of them, but I think I might have to...PM or replys are requested.
1. I WILL post pictures as soon I feel there is some real interest in them. 2. I WILL NOT ship these wheels, I will only offer pickup to the Chicagoland metro area, or in Peoria, IL (central Illinois) 3. Due to a paypal snafue (not my fault), I will only accept cash, check, money order...I'll explain what happened if anyone is really THAT curious 4. I apologize for all the capital words, I feel it provides emphasis! |

i bought my 077's for 400 and they were in rough shape and i had to put ALOT of effort into getting them looking good again and i still think i got a good deal. so if these are in as good of shape as he says and have anytires on them at all, i would say 600 would be a steal

I sold my 18 077s with tires for 450, all depends on who wants them and what they are willing to pay.

Update: they dont include tires. Now I do realize that the worth isnt going to be as much without tires, but we will see what offers are on the table first. I sold the tires already a long time ago. I will try to take very detailed pictures of them tomorrow after work. I gotta say, the best word to literally describe them is immaculate, but I know you guys will just have to judge them yourself when I post the pics! I really want to keep them, but I really need the money for school. Its really a rare find these days, especially the chrome version of the 077...I must say though that $450 is lower than I prefer and would not part with them at that price.
http://www.thedealonwheels.com/php/s...brand=American Eagle&brandsearch=1 they are selling the 18" chrome 077 for $215 a wheel |

That's kinda hard sometimes. On one hand you have the seller who wants a good amount for the rims and doesn't want to put a price up right away before at least some offers are made. On the other you have the buyer who wants to make an offer but doesn't want to pay too much by throwing out a number randomly.
Free bump for the OP

Geez this thread is a little more heated than usual...As a response to silverGAGT. I realize that mine are not brand new sealed from the factory. I was just using that as a reference as to how much a new wheel costs, a price comparison. Now have I set the price, no obviously. But I maybe I will set a price once I post pictures and receive feedback from members, the whole idea of this thread was to "GAUGE INTEREST" as in the title. Being it a "rough economy" I just wanted to see if there was interest out there and the availability/willingness of pickup before we talk about price. Let me post pictures of them tomorrow, and then at that point everyone can give me legit comments and feedback about price.
P.S. I havent been on the forums for awhile...and its changed. It wasnt like this 4 years ago. |

Pic's would be good, I like the 5 spoke design but I am not crazy over the 077's that I have seen but chrome is good.
I figure $125 per wheel, $90 off original if they are in great shape would be pretty fair.
