I don't really completely understand the purpose of these.

If you want fresh air, then open the windows.... If you want fresh air while raining, crack the windows.... If you smoke in your car, open your windows....

I don't think they look good on cars. Period.

Trucks and SUVs they are fine, but cars it just looks lame IMHO.

There are In Channel vent visors out there besides the stick on ones! Weather Tech makes them but they do cost more. They are a lower profile than the stick ons and are less noticeable as well. I have a set on my Malibu and they look good. It is nice to be able to open a window just slightly on a rainy drive just for some outside airwithot rain getting in as well as leaving the windows cracked open on hot days to ventilate the inside.
