Your car and turbo setup are cool. Definitely like. The street racing...not so cool. Just remember, with great power, comes great stupidity. Please, keep it on the track so that we don't have to admire the charred remains of one of the few turbo GA's...

Have you taken it to the track or dyno'd it yet? Sounds freaking awesome man, and the acceleration in the videos is sweet

I did not see a road. He could have just had the front wheels off the ground.

1 - street racing is retarded

2 - posting vids/talking about street racing is against forum rules

3 - posting a vid of/talking about breaking the speed limit on a public road is against forum rules

anyone who is a member on a car forum and criticizes others for driving fast/racing is a hypocrite.

(and I'm talking about reasonable stuff, not ridiculous diving in and out of traffic/organized city racing ****)

I'm not saying I don't drive fast. Hell, I drive on the autobahn to work and back each day and I see my Grand Am's speedometer around 120 mph nearly every day. The differences are that it's legal here, I stay on top of all my car's maintenance and the roads here are designed for those speeds. Even with all that, all it takes is one sharp object on the road and I'd end up as an ugly stain on the pavement. That thought alone is helping me to slow down and be more aware of the possible effects of my "fun."

You may feel justified in thinking that you will only hurt yourself if you wreck and die but you're wrong. If you wreck then your family will not only be grieved, but they'll have to cover the monetary costs of either paying for your funeral or covering your hospital bills along with repairing any damage your wreck inflicts on the road and surrounding areas. Can your family afford to pick up the pieces after you've had your fun?

I'm not bitching at you anymore than any PSA commercial you've ever seen. I'm just concerned that you think it's perfectly safe to drive 120 mph on a road that's not built or cordoned off for it. I teach a driving course over here and I have multiple pictures of mangled cars that the driver's thought were safe until the moment they lost control. Some of them blew a tire because they weren't rated for the speeds they were going. Others hit wildlife and that momentary shift in inertia sent them flying off the road. Like I said before, I don't want to have to admire the wreckage of your car. Please keep it safe and remember that you're not the only one who will be affected if you lose control of your powerful toy.
