Are they glass and not plastic? I was really hopping to get projector fogs but cannot find any made specific for the GA. So what I need is suggestions on good universal ones that I could use, fabrication for parts to install them will not be a problem.

But those halo fogs may be my fall back if not.

Halo fogs sounds cool! Might have to rig up something on the 99 when I install new ones. Just installed my halos before got wrecked. So glad they did'nt get messed up.

To all those who have the OP's posted headlights.

I have a few questions.

I recently just got these installed myself, they look great but are the side LED turn signals suppose to not blink when driving lights or lights are turned on?

I have not tested these at night yet so I turn the lights on and the LEDs will not function, they however do work properly with no lights on. I never paid attention to the stock headlights so if they are suppose to work this way then I feel stupid

Also If anyone with these particular headlights have any information or pictures on your HID instillation that would be great.

The LEDs do blink just on and off with the turn signal, they do it with the driving lights on too.

hey sorry i havent been able to get pics yets its always dark when i get home now.. but ill be getting some this weekend. otherwise the HID install is very straightforward. as far as the side leds go, they turn on solid with parking and headlights, and flash with the turn signals regardless of your light settings. try reversing the connection, it will fit in both ways.

I'll have to check it again sometime, going to install my new HU today. But They did not work at all once, so I rotated it 180 and put the plugs back in and they semi work like I said above. I was going to get a specific harness for DRLs when I got my HIDs however.

I did not need anything else aside from the actual headlights did I? I will have to pop them out again and check the connection sometime else, thanks for the input though at least I know how they are suppose to work.

i have the ccfl projectors and im not real sure what the deal is with the side blinkers not working correctly maby try unpluging the connector and rotating it around and plugging it back in, sometimes that works...but as far as HIDs, i just installed an H3 kit in my low beams and the install was pretty simple and i ordered the kit from hidny.com with a relay harness. The only problem i have with the headlights in general is that i cant seem to get them to aim as high as i need them to work well with the HIDs. The light output with hids is good but the lights just dont point high enough for me to get the full effect.

no you dont need anything else with them, just plug and play. also i jsut did the DRL disable by cutting the one wire under the dash. also i grounded the other wire to disable the automatic lights. and lastly, 2 days ago i did the independent fogs mog which was just cutting 2 more wires under the dash, which is pretty awesome having HID fogs and HID high beams on at the same time i must add

if they aren't working right, unplug the harness and rotate it 180 degrees then plug it back in

Your car is a 2000 Lamech's is an 01 so there is extra steps for him, Supplying power to the BCM to fool it into thinking the headlight switch is on, and putting a small resister into the auto lights wire to fool it into thinking its always daylight.
Both are good mods to do though. I modded mine also with the fogs anytime it is nice.

Alright apparently my headlight LEDs will only work in two ways

Plugged in : The side LED turn single lights will only work when no other lights are on

Plugged in 180 : The side LED lights will work in any condition but will not work normally (no lights on)

I have them setup in the 2nd way and I guess I could drive with my lights set to the middle tick, which is fine since the halos work that way as well.

Other than that I have no idea what else to do other than get some splicing done and wire them elsewhere.

wait, so when they are plugged in 180 degress, they work perfectly fine e.i. they stay on solid and then blink when you signal? i never really payed attention to DRLs when i had them but if this is the case then i dont think they are supposed to come on with DRLs, only with parking and full headlights.

Yes exactly as you put it, I never paid attention to the stock headlights myself but this works good enough I guess.

I may try bending one of the metal prongs back to the same side and see if I can get both ways working.

Also other than HIDNY.com, can anyone suggest a quality supplier for HIDs. I plan on getting two 6000k digital slim H3 HID kits for lows and fogs.

Does that rubber capping come off the projector easy on these Gen 2 headlights? I've yet to mess with it.

Not bad, do you think there is a product like this for GAs? Or are they worth getting. I like the idea of tint and protecting in one.

Those look pre cut I dont know if you can find them pre cut for the ga, but you might be able to get a sheet and cut it yourself. I wonder maybe get a hold of that guy and find out if they can do a ga set up.

as far as i can remember, those signals dont turn on with DRLs so i'd say they are working normally. as far as the rubber goes, it pulls off with two fingers, its no problem.
