Alright work in progress but going to get this started. I've been needing to work on this car since day one but finally got the funding and time for it.

Before

Stock HU : The LED display was shot, the CD player was dying, and paint was wearing off.

Exhaust : This needs a replace very soon, taking any suggestions for this fix.

Front : Headlights are in poor condition and I still have a few paint touch ups to do ever since I got the car

Side : Thinking about doing something to the badges but not sure what yet

Back : The left tail light housing is 100% fried, also going to remove the dealers tag... damn I was lazy with that

After

Not near done, but this is an update after installing the lights and HU.

Front : Even without the HIDs I have noticed a much better difference with projector Lows

I got my grille inserts in, subtle but it works

Back : I liked the style of these a bit more vs the TYCs, although the side reflector looks a bit cheap.

HU : I'll have more pictures and a review video on this soon, but this was the largest part of my project this year.

Forgive the crappy scenery, I live in the middle of nowhere for college :/

Night Shots

Forgive the ****ty camera, one of the next new things I buy.

I still have to get my HID kits in the mail but I got some night shots in so might as well.

Front with lows

Back with break

Back (emergency lights, two smaller lights also turn signals)

HU

The quality does not look good I know and the colors are off, but that orange was the same red as the stock interior lighting its just my camera sucks xD

Decent start, although I would have used the money you spend on the tails towards lowering springs and wheels

With some light sand paper, steel wool, and metal poish, you can make those tips look decent again.

They were not that expensive tbh, the thing that cost me the most was the new HU anyways. Besides this is just a few of the things that I got done over last weekend, still more to come. However I doubt I will lower the car, its low enough for me already.

I will be doing this as a temp fix, looking for either replacing a good deal of this or just getting some tips. This will probably happen when I get a allot of maintenance work done on it and buy a bunch of new parts.

If you plan on putting larger rims on, either 17's or 18's it will look too high after. A comparison pic for you.

I am actually happy with the stock rims for the time being, but thanks for letting me know if I did change that I should lower.

Well I already cut my own grille inserts and painted them but still gotta get them in, also getting projector fogs and 2 6000k H3 HID kits, possibly getting non amber turn signals since that crap flakes off after a while,SilverStar ULTRA for HIs, brighter reverse lights. The rest is maintenance and replacing parts which cut into the rest of my money (like replacing the Oxygen sensor), so everything else I wanted to do (SC/T Hood, new speaker system etc) will be for early next year. So most of my performance upgrades and mods I plan on doing all next year. Which reminds me, Vet or Camaro brake setup?

The thing I do not like about the headlights are the sides, I plan on doing some modification to them later. However I plan on getting stock headlights and making custom projector. I really wanted projector headlights and I liked those the best out of the others.

I would have tinted all the stock lights etc back when I got it in 03 but I wanted a different look since I was so use to the stock setup.

As for the tails I liked them much more than the TYCs but the side reflector is smaller than I would like it and does not light up for a turn signal like I think the TYCs do. But this can be changed.

[SARCASM]Also getting this put on soon...[/SARCASM]

Stock rims or not, you should still lower it. It looks better either way.

I hope you are kidding about the wing. That thing is hideous, do NOT put that on your car, it will look bad!

You should have quoted the picture

But I am certain the speed bumps on campus would rape my car if I lowered it.

If you are keeping the stock rims the Vette calipers will not work, the ribbing is too large. And if you want the camaro calipers the plastic chrome will need to be ground down just a little on your stock rims.

Once it is lowered it looks great, but with that much space under it I think it looks like a 4x4 pickup.
Lowered with stock rims

And with the 18's

Yeah, don't do that wing...or any "wing" for that matter. 150 fwhp does not = need for a wing.

No amount of fwhp = need for a wing at all. Only reason to put a wing on the back of a fwd OR a rwd car is if you do road racing or top speed runs.... since the wing only makes down force at higher speeds and does nothing for launches or low speed driving.

But also that wing is a cheap piece of crap and looks the part, and it's not designed to actually make any down force. You'd need a much more expensive wing to get one that's functional. Believe me, I used to have a cheap crappy aluminum wing from NOPI on my car for a few years. Then I came to my senses.

Actually we are in a competition of getting the most durable HU atm

Also taking suggestions of where to buy some nice 6000k Digital HID Kits. I am planning on buying them off of HIDNY.com unless I hear anything bad about them.
