I kick the speakers in my q logics, I dont see how you will keep from kicking yours. I don't like those pods, they dont flow well at all. But Im sure it'll sound great. My q logics helped, but with yours being pointed in a better direction itll be better than mine.

i knoe the pods don't look as good as q's but i figured i would sarcfice some looks for sound, they'll be carpeted so they should blend a lil more then they do now
im sure they'll get hit every once and a will but the outta the way for the most part.

besides no-one will be looking at my floors when i get my doors done.

I hope that car does not do any long distance driving, I would guess after spending an hour with your foot like that it will be in pain. Or your knee more likely.

i like what you've done so far. i mean that install looks great, and i'm sure it sounds great too.

i guess i just dont understand the need for a 8" speaker. is there that much of a gap in sound between the subs and mids that you need a pair of 8''s? if so you might want to consider getting differnt mids, or turning your sub amp low pass filter up a little higher. cause i'm telling you now, your going to regret putting those 8"s on the floor. maybe you wont mind them being there, but i guarnete that most of the passengers you have will either step on them or break them in some way. its just not practicle. i could understand if you were trying to make a SQ show car, but i doubt thats what your trying to do. hell even on my car the gf kicks the door panels i have. and she rides in the car all the time. i'd hate to see alll that time, money, and effort go to waste. just my 0.02.

good work though man.

i just wanna 8's for more mid bass punch...the 6.5's i have now have a good kick to them, it's im starting to get tried of what i got. figured i'd start tryin new things, and i want more of the bass up front.

oh and there goin it the doors not the floor

i've played with tuning on the stereo all summer and feel i've got the most i can outta it with what i got...so it's time to exspreament.

and it's not a show car but i do work at a car audio shop so it may be demo-ed at times, but for the most part it's all for me.

really it's not...just prep everything before you start, make sure you have a good clean area to work( that helps alot). lay down some tarp or something to keep resin from getting were you don't want it (carpet of your car). mix your resin properlly so you don't have to wait long for it to dry.and take you time don't rush things.

those are just some things i noticed.

BOOTMASTER hey everyone, I'm a newb!
good work, how did you space the wood part from the back mold? or did you just lay it on and go from there?

Foil would be better then tarp no chance of it melting thru. Looks good though if u wanna see the sickest setup I can post pics of this guys BMW and link to build lots of cf and custom amp mounts mad crazy.
If it's ok to post I will don't want to hijack but could give you some more ideas.

laid the wooden mounts on towel to get them aimed to same, then wooded dowels hot glued then pulled out the towel.

pods are now done... just slpaed them im there thats why the wires are showing, will be re-wiring another time...

they sound awesome when high pass is set to 160 or 200. an lower and it's way to much mid bass, it end up make the speakers sound muddy...

guess thats why i planned for 8's ....just goin to be a bi+ch figuring out how to do them.
